I stopped here after a jog and I have to say this place is a secret gem in the neighborhood. The employees only speak Spanish but they were very patient and I was able to place and order. I ordered chicken, rice, beans, salad, and an arepas. The chicken and the arepas were so delicious. I’ll definitely come back.

Great place overall. Only negative was the language barrier: no employees in-restaurant knew English (they are Spanish), but we ended up on the phone with a man who knew English and suggested their popular dishes including primarily steak and chicken. I had grilled chicken and it was falling right off the bone; super juicy and very well seasoned! The rice was okay, but mixed with baked beans, it came to life. There was egg salad too. I dont really like egg salad in general (bias on my behalf), but others said it was great. Awesome food, cool little atmosphere, and very helpful staff who managed to work around our barrier. Definitely plan to return!

Excellent. I found it by word of mouth, went back after a few days and plan for a 3rd time very soon. The owner is very nice and treats the place like her home and you're a guest at her kitchen table. The Dominican auntie we didn't know we had. Her English is fine just heavily accented, so the language barrier is no problem even though I don't speak Spanish. I honestly don't know what we've eaten, but I ask her to make us plates and she whips something up at a very reasonable price. My fav has been the chicken and yellow rice.
Kid-friendliness: She is there to take care of you and will find something for your kiddo. Family atmosphere.
