Very excited about having found this place. We went through the happy hour menu and everything was absolutely delicious. I couldn't get enough of the oysters... so much so that I'll be checking out the Times Sq inn next :)

You will want to become a regular here. Come for the best happy hour in town and stay for the lobster roll. The hospitality is beyond icing on the cake.

the service was very attentive. We were not as impressed with the food. The lobster roll at $39 was teeny tiny. The fries overpowered with Old Bay spice. The raw oysters and clams were just okay. The crab roll was tasty, as were the fish tacos.

Me and my wife (borat voice) had an amazing time at the Mermaid Oyster Bar. The food was fantastic and it was affordable for NYC. After dinner, we went to a show at The Comedy Cellar which was conveniently right around the corner. 10/10 would recommend.

Went to the oyster bar last night with my friend and had such a great time! The food was delicious — we tried the oysters from happy hour and had margaritas, both were amazing. Antonio, the bartender, gave excellent service, and Christina at the front desk was super welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon

All good at the Greenwich village outpost of mermaid. 1st time visit based on recommendation of a friend. I was concerned that this was a chain restaurant and maybe quality would suffer. Instead- found the Very friendly staff- (bartender, host, server and food runners ) were all super helpful and cordial. We sat outside and enjoyed a bustling Sunday evening street scene. 2 of us shared a grand platter and it was ample and Everything was fresh. Will go back.

Loved the entire experience. Oysters were fresh, drinks well prepared and fantastic service from start to finish.

Really love this adorable place. It was pretty packed on a recent Saturday night so it was a little difficult to get our server's attention, but otherwise a great experience. We ordered up and down the menu and got too much fried stuff but it was all delicious. Highly recommend the Caesar salad and fish tacos.

We had a lovely time. Some oysters and the shrimp cocktail to start. Perfect shrimp - so sweet and perfectly cooked. The wellfleet oysters are favorites. We then added the green bean tempura and he sea bass in brown butter. I love the cup of chocolate pudding to put an exclamation point on the meal!
