Best theater in town
Great place great movie selection
Normally never write reviews but this needs to be emphasized: the seats suck. Great neighborhood theater otherwise. Love the selection 👍🏻
all right
Small theater, we watched a foreign film.
Place has a funny odor.
i beg you to make the opening trailers longer as someone who is always a little late
The best place for old film movies lovers! Just watched one of my all-time favourite movie last month! Relocating to cali. Will definitely miss this place😭😭
Fantastic programming but maybe the most uncomfortable seats of any theater in the city, and certainly attracts the worst behaved clientele of all the repertory cinemas in the area. Generally avoid it like the plague but sometimes their film print screenings are just too good to pass up.
Great theater experience and retro feel
Great selection of movies and unique concession choices but the crappy seats and the annoying hipsters who always show up late and cackle throughout every movie take it down a couple of stars.
Restaurantji Recommends
OK, why 2 stars? Theater layout is great, offerings are great. However... if you are at all sensitive to artificial scents, like perfumes, air fresheners, all that head-ache inducing stuff, STAY AWAY. Unfortunately they've decided to make the bathrooms a virtual wall of artificial floral smell, and the theater isn't much better. They gotta learn: the best smell is NO SMELL. I left a screening of Alien with a splitting head-ache, and later on people literally asked me if I had some weird perfume on since it permeated my clothing. Like being around a smoker, and I'd rather be around a smoker. Oh well.
Great art house theatre. Highly recommend though the seats aren’t lazy boys I promise you will be okay.
Really good selection of movies. Good atmosphere. Classy. The seats are too hard though.
Favorite independent theatre! Very unique showings, great curated series, and a cute concessions area and bar. Membership is also a great deal!
Love this theater so much but my one complaint is that the chairs could be more comfortable.
