Quality of tacos has always been really inconsistent but it's gotten worse, and has been a waste of money more often than not lately. Maybe they switched ownership? Their signage did change, it doesn't say Mexican Deli anymore.

Ahhh. Forget bout it . It was very very tasty. Iiked the Torta Cubana. It has flavorful smoky chorizo, sliced ham, sliced pastrami, ohhhh it's delicious. The bread wow amazing. Breakfast is delicious and satifying. A grown man of 250 pounds can eat 6 tacos and get filled up. Oh the tacos. They come fat and hot and juicy. HAMBURGERS hamburgers hamboigus. They are thick and meaty. I came here for brkfst,lunch, and dinner for 2 weeks. Thank ya and have a nice day. Come and get it.

The state tostadas in the Al Pastor tacos are sooooo good. They make them fresh to order and they never disappoint. I just love that I can order or pickup any time of day or night.

the most convenient deli in the neighborhood (if they actually answer the phone or deliver your order) and the food is good. the service is consistently horrible. this time i called waited an hr for my food. i never received a phone call from the delivery person when i called the store the lady said she would call me back never called me back fast forward another half an hour. i get dressed and go get my food then i'm told i can't buy my food. i have to go back home because the man is waiting for me i get home. the man is not here and never was. on a regular basis when i go they all have nasty attitude, they're always on their phone and they rather converse. and flirt with each other then actually cook food and deal with the service. i will never go back in here i strongly recommend nobody else go in here either.

Absolutely awful!! i used to go to this deli all the time but now not anymore. i can tell the foods different and more expensive. the sandwich looks awful and there was chicken missing where it shoudlve been on the hero. The mozarella sticks also, really> only 6 sticks for the 5-6 dollars i paid for? it used to be 10.Trash sides and garbage food now from mexican deli inc. Dont buy! It sucks that i have to stop buying from this place i really used to love it but now its awful. This delis really fallen off i dont recommend at all tastes awful i recommend another in front of the bus station 96 st. way better and delicious than the garbage mexican deli
4.5 stars rounded down. I can’t believe that I’ve never reviewed this place. Solid food, sizeable portions, reasonable prices. 24 hours! The fresh bread is great with all the sandwiches. The cheesesteak on a sub roll is what I usually get. The large hamburgers are pretty good and at a reasonable price. The torta comes with meat, jalapeños, avocado, onion, cheese, Lettuce, sour cream and pickled carrots (doesn’t that sound good?). Menu updated 4/13/23.

I ordered burger n fries. Extra fries and they didn’t give me extra. They also put the vegetables on the fries area to give you less fries and add room to the tray. Also did not get extra fries and still got charged for it. Awful service don’t come here! The owner is fat!!!!!
