It's weird to me to see so many bad reviews here. This place is delicious and the service here is great. I try to come here at least once a month because I love their food and I love their margaritas. I usually order their cucumber/cilantro margarita which is $8/ea for happy hour. Their food is simple, and while not super traditional is very tasty and priced well. I love their tamale which is a meal with in itself, their pork tacos, and their elote. If you're in the area and want something quick, tasty, and reasonably priced, I would recommend this spot.

I come here pretty often, they have great outdoor dining and lots of space inside. They now do $8 margaritas until 8 everyday plus $2 for flavor (which is worth it, you can make any spicy). Overall, it's solid Mexican food at a good price, nothing too fancy with enough options (vegan, gluten free, vegetarian). They also do bottomless brunch.

I ordered a Burrito yesterday and it was the best I’ve ever ! The girl in the window, Dolores, was very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back. Next time I will come back with time to dine in and enjoy the awesome bar and try a margarita. Thank you Mexicoma for a great experience.

This place surprisingly good. Great Mexican food. We had the shrimp burrito, carnitas quesadilla, chips/guacamole, chorizo taco and tortilla soup. Also had a pomegranate margarita and a watermelon margarita. Everything was delicious and great service from the staff. This place should be a lot busier than it was.

The food, service, and atmosphere at Mexicoma are on point! I ordered the fresh guacamole, tacos and rice. The food came out timely and everything was delicious! The guacamole is exquisite! Carlos, our waiter, visited our table frequently to ensure that we had everything we needed and to refill drinks! Fanny, the manager, recommended the Tres Leches dessert and it was phenomenal! I will definitely be going back to try other menu items and enjoy the "Happy Hour" specials!

First of all what is going on with the metal tray where they serve the food. My pets have better tableware than this restaurant. Their food is acidic so we taste the metal here and there and gives it a very poor presentation to their dishes. It was my friend birthday and she wanted to try mexicoma cause it was near her job. When we got there we were asked for our vaccinations proof which is why the stars we are given. Then we sat and here comes a lovely man to let us know everything is done through the internet in their page. I've heard of restaurants doing this but was not awared of how impersonal the whole situation was. Well that was the only time we saw our waiter or anyone else until we were brought our food and our drinks. We ordered guacamole w chips. Carne a la parrilla, which came with a very small order of rice and beans all together in a very small bowl, some chorizo order that came shredded in a small bowl and some tortillas the size of a medium size cookie. The food was badly made, the meat was hard, the guacamole had not essence and it was runny the chorizo was drenched in fat ... my bill came to 118 dlrs and the tip was 19 dlrs which I don't know who we tipped.. maybe the system cause like I said not a soul until our food was served. I went to the restroom came back picked up our bags and left.. not a thank you or a goodbye... what an odd experience with no human service at all... this pandemic has taken all of the personal graces we had when being served.

Nachos and tacos were very good. You can order via the app and service was great. Recommended for groups and families

Went in here with a friend with the intention of having an upscale and potentially expensive lunch. We were able to sit indoor after showing vaccination cards--the outside seating looked fantastic but it was a bit too rainy out. We both ordered frozen mango margaritas and were expecting to overpay and just WOW, they were so tasty. So well made, honestly, the first drink I've had in New York that actually seemed accurately priced to the ingredients and labor. Really nice. My friend got two tacos--she said they were sort of okay, but nothing special. I got the chicken quesadilla and I was just so underwhelmed. I really wanted to like this place, the server was really sweet and the drinks were good and I was just really in a good mood! But wow, my quesadilla was SO bland it was sort of absurd. The only spices in the chicken must have been salt and pepper. Maybe it was designed for kids or white people flavor palettes? IDK, I wish I could have ordered it spicy, or with some sort of salsa with spice in it. So, overall, great drinks, great service, great ambience, subpar flavors, especially for the price.

The vegetarian taco left a bit to be desired; lacked a bit of flavor and flair. Service is great even with the impersonal touch free ordering. Solid chips and guac with a plethora of sauces. The space is well decorated but customers are paying for automation and paint -these tacos ain’t cheap.

First time here. This restaurant uses a "new" system. You scan the menu, that will take you to their webpage where you can order and pay your bill on your own. I like this, didn't have to wait for them to take my order or give me my check. My advise for this "new" system, order your drinks, input your card as soon as you can, then you can continue adding to your order, the food will come as you order it.We ordered orange and watermelon Aguas Frescas, nachos, empanadas, and tacos (fish, carne asada, carnitas and pollo). For dessert, churros and tres leches cake. The nachos tasted fresh a little bland, but still good, empanadas had a little bit of an after-taste, didn't like the crust, stuffing was tasty. I think it was the oil they were fried in. The Aguas Frescas were not a hit at our table.Things got better when the tacos arrived. The fish and carnitas were the best, they were delicious. The chicken was my least favorite. The churros were ok, the tres leches cake was very good.Service was good, waiters were welcoming, courteous and informative.Overall not a bad experience.
