I love the Mikado downtown and I think the fish quality is all great. This was the first time I ordered from the Uptown location and the rice in all of my rolls was undercooked and crunchy. A piece of yellowtail in my roll had a bone in it too. So disappointing if you’re paying $30+.

There was a long hair in the last sushi that I ate, I felt so sick after. The rice in the sushi itself was also unevenly cooked, there were some pieces of rice that tasted undercooked. The takeout container was also leaking from the bottom (this might just apply if you get the eel). I’ve been to the Chelsea location and it was significantly better. Would not recommend this location
