We had a great experience at Milk in New York! The most delicious item by far was the cereal ice cream—it’s absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight. We also tried the colorful birthday cake, but it wasn’t as good; it tasted a bit dry. On a positive note, the staff member who helped us was very kind and friendly. Overall, we highly recommend going, especially for the cereal ice cream!
Every time I’m in New York I have to get milk bars, cereal, ice cream! It is truly so good, there is nothing like it. The location in Nolita is a very cute walk up window with really lovely staff. The prices are reasonable, and they now have matchboxes!
I was so excited to try this place after years of following chef Christina Tosi. However, the cereal flavour just wasn’t what I expected. It tasted more like pretzel soaked milk. I also got the extra corn flakes topping which was way too salty.
A note on the Brooklyn store that was not on brand (such a colourful fun branding but didn’t deliver the in-store fun experience). Overall I feel like it’s overrated and would not recommend.
