The service was fast. I ordered the 50/50 plate. We loved the dumplings, but I think it was about $16 plus tax and tip. I think it was a bit expensive, but we got 10 dumplings. We sat by the window with my kid, and we had a good time.
Just had a fabulous meal at Mimi Cheng’s Dumplings, and I’m already planning my next visit! Started off with the Scallion Pancake, crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of greasy goodness. In general, I eat a lot of seafood and vegetable dumplings. A small bit of meat dumplings here and there. Dumplings are one of my food groups. It is really hard to find a good clean simple and flavorful vegetable dumpling. This is the best I’ve had in nyc. Reminds me of my grandmothers.
