Awesome Delicious Sushi, I can’t believe how quick they prepared and delivered our food...
Excellent sushi here. The slices are larger portioned and most of them have a dab of wasabi.
What stood out were the fried products. The fried vegetables and chicken were some of the best I’ve eaten.
The food took quite a bit longer than anticipated to come out, given I was the first person there, but after seeing the volume of to go orders, I saw why. Staff seemed to be limited until somebody else arrived at 6:30p even though they opened at 5:30p. Still would...read full review

Our server was very friendly and certainly has many years of experience at a high-end Japanese restaurant under his belt.
We came for Omakase, a premium meal made in front of the patrons, available only 2 days a week.
Chef Nobu was such a charm. His attention to detail shows in his work. The fish he sources were all of the highest quality.

Kanoyama is an excellent Japanese restaurant in New York City. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including gyoza, karaage, sushi, rolls, and miso soup. The sushi chef puts a lot of thought and effort into preparing each dish, and the sashimi platter is a must-try, served with a bowl of rice for a satisfying meal. The sushi was overall pretty good, and the sashimi special was a good choice, with quality fish. While it is on the pricey side, the price isn't too bad given the quality. The restaurant can get busy, and it was quite warm inside.
