The portion sizes of food & wine pours are unbeatable! It’s tasty but not top rated Italian food for NYC. The staff were friendly and provided quick service. The piano bar makes it an experience in a beautiful atmosphere! I would absolutely go back!

Great neighborhood spot. Food is solid and atmosphere is great, especially when the piano is going. Love visiting.

Food was fine, portions were small; our server was inattentive, rude, and only showed up ever 15 minutes or so; waited between entrees being delivered to our table (12 minutes between the kids getting theirs and my wife getting hers (which came piecemeal as well).

Spent a really lovely evening at Mimi’s, a cozy local bar with a warm, laidback vibe. The live piano gave the place a nostalgic New York charm. Calamari was crisp and satisfying. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you’d hope for at a neighborhood spot.
The real highlight of the night was Laurie, the bartender. She was warm, sharp, and had that rare ability to make everyone at the bar feel seen. Talking to her felt like catching up with an old friend. She had the whole room laughing and relaxed without even trying.
It’s places like this and people like her that make you want to come back. Mimi’s isn’t just a neighborhood bar. It’s the kind of spot that turns a random night out into something you’ll remember.

Mimi’s is a fun, lively neighborhood spot with a buzzing atmosphere and dueling pianos - show tunes and old-school bangers that get the whole bar singing along. It’s a great mix of all ages and definitely a good time if you’re looking for entertainment.
The service wasn’t great, unfortunately, but the food was decent- nothing amazing, but not bad either. Prices are fair and portions are generous.

Overall, good experience here. Service was good, although server did seem to be pretty swamped, and the food was fine but nothing special. The atmosphere was nice, but the piano bar has to go! The person playing/singing the night we were there was truly awful. Comically bad, in fact. Plus, he was so LOUD. I would go back, but only on a night without the piano.

RUN - don’t walk - for the pasta bolognese! We had it & took home extra. BEST bolognese ever & it is the dish I order everywhere. We lived it. Staff was great. Atmosphere was cozy & chef should be kissed for this dish! (Lasagna & ravioli parmigiana were both fantastic also)! Bravo!
