Came in on Valentine's Day and there was no wait. My husband and I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and tiramisu. Service was great, and so was the food. Prices are very fair. We will definitely be back!

This place goes back quite a while.
It really used to be quite something.
You will enjoy the boisterous piano bar vibes.
I've been going there since I was a little boy, and only recently have I felt like they would prefer that you eat and get out!

We had 2 recommendations for Italian, so glad we chose Mimi's, as we sat at the bar Sandra greeted us made us feel so welcome. The food was outstanding, piano player , patrons singing around the piano , chatting with fellow patrons sharing a glass of wine and laughing made you feel like you stepped back in time.
I highly recommend Mimi's.

We discovered this place late at night during our NYC trip. Our waiter Alex recommended the Chicken Picatta over linguine, and we absolutely loved it! The piano player was pleasant, and the restaurant has a very unique and authentic atmosphere. Thanks, Alex!

The pianist James didn’t know the song that I requested which was a hit famous song :( I was disappointed.
But, the baked clams were so delish had to order two. Lasagna wasn’t bad

Disappointing Experience at Mimi Bar Manhattan

I have been a loyal customer of Mimi Bar Manhattan for many years, and it has always been a place I enjoyed visiting. However, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standard I have come to expect.

During dinner with my wife yesterday, we were served by a waiter who spoke very limited English, which made communication quite difficult. When I politely requested assistance from another staff member, he insisted that he could handle our order himself. Unfortunately, the meal that arrived was not what we ordered, and the quality of the food was very poor. The dish appeared unappetizing, had an unpleasant smell, and did not seem fresh. This completely ruined our dining experience.

In addition, the restaurant itself feels outdated and overcrowded, with small tables placed very close together. The overall atmosphere and condition of the interior — particularly the kitchen area — give the impression that it has not been renovated or properly maintained in many years. This raises concerns about hygiene and general upkeep.

After this visit, I regret to say that I will not be returning to Mimi Bar Manhattan. It is unfortunate to see a once-reliable establishment decline in both service quality and overall standards.

We had the best waitress ever for my birthday Edina!!! She waited on us so well, balanced so many orders, and was generally cheerful! The best waitress ever!!!!!
