I'm sooo sad. I just found out about the closing today, because I wanted to drive to the city to get a favorite slice from my childhood days. My dad used to bring me home a plain slice on Saturdays back in the 70s, on his way home from Lyric HiFi a few blocks away. Best wishes to Mimi's. I'll never find another slice like yours.
I just tuned into an episode of The Best Food I Ever Ate to watch Bobbly Flay gush over how great Mimi's was. I miss my after work and school slices at Mimi's!
