Miznon inside The Hugh food hall 🥙🔥
Tried the chicken liver pita and the whole roasted cauliflower — comforting, rich, and full of flavor. A perfect combo if you’re craving something unique in Midtown NYC! 😋

Super rude staff, cauliflower was burned, took over 40 mins to get ready, when asked about timing - “it’s coming” without even checking c honestly probably last time I’m coming here.

Miznon is one of those rare places that turns a casual meal into a full experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and energy — especially from Donique, who truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Her kindness and attention make every visit feel special, like you’re dining with friends rather than just ordering lunch.

The food? Outstanding. The wild mushroom pita is rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced — easily one of the best vegetarian dishes in the city. The hummus is impossibly smooth and flavorful, the kind you can’t stop dipping into. And then there are the “ran over potatoes” — crispy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. They’re such a fun and unexpected way to eat potatoes, and somehow taste nostalgic and new at the same time.

Every bite at Miznon feels thoughtful and vibrant, and the team’s passion shows in every detail. If you’re at The Hugh, don’t miss checking out these delicious, vibrant options.

I know Miznon from other locations, and every time I’m impressed all over again. The pitas are absolutely delicious, and the signature cauliflower was cooked to perfection. It’s a new spot for me, but the same great food – I was really happy to eat here. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. As for the atmosphere, it’s in a food court, so there’s really nothing to complain about — if that’s not your thing, you might want to eat elsewhere.

I feel like this place would thrive with better staffing, food & ownership. Sorry but the other Miznon in Manhattan is way better in my experience, this one lacks.. how do I say, jenesequa! Let’s take a deeper dive into this establishment, the food.. very mid for their pricing, which is weird because the food in the other restaurant is actually edible. The staffing, the waitress I think her name was Donique? Was super unprofessional, she kept trying to hold her composure while taking our order, maybe she was high who knows, I simply have no good words for this place. Good luck to the current owners.

Dishes were dirty and whoever Donique is should NOT be in food service. She is so rude and her energy is incredibly off. Crazy she has a job like this.

Not only does the place have a terrible smell, the food will definitely make you sick. I ordered and wasted almost $20 for food that I threw out in a couple minutes, I was not about to risk getting sick eating there 🤮🤮

Worse food than the typical Middle Eastern joint, worse service than your typical fast food place. If you don't want to waste your money, check out another Middle Eastern restaurant like Duzan.

The amount of food provided is definitely less than it used to be.

Used to be high priced but good food and a reasonable portion.

Now it is just overpriced.
