This place is the worst, I now have an unrelenting bagel addiction. I foresee myself gaining 400 pounds as I eat at least 2 of these bagels a day. You’d think I’d be able to keep the weight off since I live in NJ, but they “luckily” have a delivery option. Essentially making it effortless to maintain my addiction, I shall die happy. I am a firm believer in not quitting the things you love and by golly I LOVE these bagels. I’d marry one, but times are crazy enough so I choose gluttony and a bigger size jeans.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free deliciousness

I’ve tried their bagels a few times, tastes is meh and it misses the texture you expect from a regular bagel.Just note that they are gluten free so the taste and texture is not as good as actual bagels, but might be a good alternative for gluten sensitive people. But boy it was not until i got to be their neighbor when I rented a place for a few months right behind their backyard, that I knew how bad they run their business. they have a super loud HVAC system for their fridge I believe, which sounds like a supersonic when it is running. The whole area behind their backyard is literally shaking overnight when they set those gluten free dough to rise! Someone should call the city to inspect their HVAC noise level. I called but the earliest appointment the inspector could set was for after I would leave the neighborhood, but if you read this and are their neighbor call 311 to set a compliant and noise inspection appointment! They’re definitely violating the NYC noise level code.

A must visit for any coeliac + their non-coeliac friends and family while visiting New York! Food was incredible, wouldn’t know it was gluten free

1 over 3 stars simply for the amount of seeds. Where to start, $15 for one bagel and cream cheese and two uncut bagels. Wow. There are no tables and I was forced to sit next to the garbage. As I was eating they decided to empty the garbage. Terrible experience. Won’t be back

As a former New Yorker who is now gluten free, I almost cried when I took my first bite of my everything bagel from modern bread and bagel. You don't know how much I miss New York bagels. And being able to eat something gluten-free that is almost like a regular bagel.... It made me so happy.I bought two extra to take home with me. Should have bought more. Meanwhile, the bakeries shelves are loaded with so many gluten-free options. Not just bagels. Breads. And tons of sweet goodies.Keep in mind, everything they do is gluten-free. So, walking into a bakery where I could potentially eat anything? So amazing. If you are gluten-free, you get me. Cannot recommend them enough. And I believe that they also ship nationwide. But icing on the cake is their outstanding customer service. The staff are so patient and kind and work hard to move the line along. Because yes, as you can imagine there is a line.

I came to NYC just for a day to see a Broadway show. I also made 7 food stops including this one. I bought bagels, honey buns, donuts, and lemon poppy hamantaschen. They give a good ratio of bagel to cream cheese, and the staff was friendly and kind. I was honestly disappointed by the texture of the donuts. I bought 6 and threw 2 away. I think they do a much better job with savory than with sweet stuff, but that's obviously a subjective opinion.I will be placing an order for bagels to be shipped to me after I eat the ones I brought home!!

I love this place! Bagels are amazing, you can’t even tell they are gluten free. I also love their chocolate babka and pastries. I think severs can be a bit impatient at times but as a celiac, I love that I can eat bagels and pastries that taste so good.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Stopped in to pick up treats for a trip to the park with friends. I got 4 bakery items and we each tried them all. And then we threw them all in the trash. Not worth the calories. Huge disappointment.
