the food is always delicious and the decor is beautiful - it is a bit noisy because it accommodates large parties - but Enrico always does his best to accommodate and find appropriate seating when i'm there - i highly recommend dining here

A little loud due to one large group seated next to us. Otherwise one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever enjoyed. From the greeter, to the lead server, to the severs, to the bartender (exceptional mixology and friendly demeanor). You have assembled a remark staff. I last visited Molyvos 40 years ago. The location has changed, but all else remains of the high quality.

I visited the restaurant for my wife berth day dinner. Every time when I visited I felt every dishes were amazing. The restaurant served small delicious cake for her as a birthday treat.

Our third time to Molyvos in the last 3 years - each time we've visited NYC. The staff is very congenital and efficient. The food is always so fresh and well prepared. My husband had the Maine scallops and raved about them while he ate. I had the lamb chops. They were perfectly cooked to medium rare and the sauce really complimented them. We'll be back again next year when we visit NYC.

I attended a fabulous (as always) Oct. 20th, 2025 special multi-course dinner of recipes from cook-author-PBS cooking show hostess, Diane Kochilas, it was incredible. The 5 course menu was wonderful and I was so happy to attend since having missed another special Molyvos dinner with Diane Kochilas within the past 2 years. LOVE Molyvos & I've been to (new) the present West 43 St. 9th Ave. location many times. It's always wonderful, beautiful quiet & relaxed atmosphere, superb service (try to get seated at one of Despina's tables!!). The menu and wine selection is fantastic. Every dining experience has been superb. I've not yet tried their weekend brunch and really have it on my agenda. I have nothing negative to say about this wonderful restaurant!

We had a great return to Molyvos for dinner on a lively Monday night. My dining companion had a fish she proclaimed delicious, and said she "could eat there every night." I ended up feeling very similarly with a delicious lemony soup that I really could eat every day, made with gigantes and greens (chard?). We had a great experience.

Molyvos has always been a fave. I'd not yet been to the new location. The one OpenTable glitch that would not have happened if I called for a reso was that we were placed on the patio. I'm pretty sure that I ticked off "Standard" and not patio as we would never want to sit outside if we could help it. The food was as good as always. I was sad that it appears that the restaurant has had to downsize, both in venue and menu, yet everything remains seriously quality. And the staff was pleasant and attentive if a little slow to return to the table to get my drink order (I had to ask a busser). All things put together, Molyvos maintains its standard for quality (the best Saganaki anywhere!) and we'll be back when we have an event in the neighborhood!

Molyvos is always a treat! The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the feeling is warm and welcoming. We had the tuna tartare starter, followed by dolmades, and then milopita for dessert. All this was accompanied by a glass of retsina. We finished all that with a glass of muscat of Samos as a digestif. The food was excellent and the service was superb, all of which made for a lovely evening. Every time we come to New York, we make sure to have at least one meal at Molyvos.
Had a lunch meeting there and the ambiance was excellent, the service was professional, and the food was very good.

We had a great time at Molyvos. I had the stuffed peppers and my son had the Dorada while my husband enjoyed the crispy cod. Everything was great and very nicely presented. Service was also very pleasant. We will come back.

Molyvos is very close to the theater district. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by different members of the staff. The service was excellent. The food was tasty and well prepared. We will definitely be back.
