Raices is a really great place. The food is totally amazing. The atmosphere is really upbeat, great Latin music, beautiful design, very sophisticated. Staff is really friendly and responsive. A great place to bring friends, but also to sit alone at the bar and just take in the positive energy. Totally recommended. Great drinks and food, reasonable prices.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We went for a birthday party and service was awful from the start. The bouncers are rude and racist towards the clientele. Entrance fee is $20 for females and $30 for males. PLUS $10 for a mandatory coat check! They interior is very small. The moment I walked in. I realized I was wasting my time there. The place is very ghetto. The place gets over crowded. There were cops outside the entire time I was there. I will never go back. The flyer for the party was false advertising. The flyer especially said no jeans and sneakers. However, every guy there was in jeans and sneakers. The bouncers also tried to turn girls away if they didn't "have the right look."

The best part of this ghetto club was the bartender that was very attentive. You'll end up paying crazy rate for a place in the ghetto that's not worth even a free entrance. A group of 4 at about 12am were charged 30 per person per entrance ($120) and an additional 10 Per coat check ($40). So even before getting at the in, we ended up paying $160. That's a good bottle service anywhere else around the area that's way better. Definitely will never go back to this spot and would recommend others not too. Unless you like smoking weed and cigarettes inside, then it's all you.
Drinks are on poooint liquor wise. Staff is beautiful ��� music was great the girls were very friendly and helpful only thing it gets unwalkable too quick

They made it seem like it was crazy packed in there. Bouncers are very rude! If you want a booth for bottle service you have to spend at least $1000. This place is over rated!

It kind of pains me to give a spot uptown a review this bad but it really is deserving. (Sighs)...okay, so a friend of mine was to have her birthday gathering here about a month ago. She had everything planned for the event as far as bottle service, time of arrival, reserved seating, etc. I arrive here about a half hour before midnight to see that the spot wasn't even opened yet. What, huh?! You're a lounge uptown, how the F are you not opened yet? So I find my friend and a few others at the restaurant next door waiting for things to be taken care of at Monaco. We're at the restaurant for about 20 minutes and then enter the lounge. Now that it's AFTER 12 am when they were SUPPOSE to open at 10 pm I (guys) had to pay a $20 entrance fee...but there wasn't suppose to be an entry fee for guys had you gotten there before 12...do you guys see where I'm going with this? So for one: Monaco jerks the guys at the door with the $20 fee to get in when all of us arrived before 12 but because THEY hadn't opened yet they were charging...OKAY. But let's add on to that a little bit: So then my friend who was celebrating her birthday there, comes to find out without the manager or peoples in charge who are working for the bar tell her AFTER the fact that they are charging $500 for a bottle of Ciroc for her gathering...ONE BOTTLE...of CIROC...which isn't even that strong to begin with...and it's a good 12 of us. $500...really?...are you that serious? Laughable night here at best. So not even here a half hour my friend goes back and forth with the manager of Monaco trying to find out why they are playing games with her gathering. They are not giving any clear answers so we all decided to leave. But wait...there's more. Upon leaving all of us that paid, males as well as females...(mind you the females were suppose to be free all night and once again males free before midnight.) We all ask for our $20 back. The manager gives all of us a hard time about it for about another half hour while we're all outside the lounge. Then says that he has to try to see from the bouncer if we could get refunds. Then my friends sister was told that we would have to get in contact with the promoter of the party or retrieve the actual e-mail stating that guys free before midnight and ladies free all night. So after retrieving the e-mail after about 7 minutes, we were RELUCTANTLY handed our $20 back. Listen...I don't know much about Monaco, I don't know who comes here regularly if anyone at all but some words of advice for anyone that is considering holding a party gathering here...DON'T DO IT. You would be setting yourself up for a night of miscommunication and games being played with your money. This is one spot uptown that I would never do again and I'm sure quite a few others won't as well.
