Absolutely loved this place! Happened upon it while my daughter and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch while walking to see the Freedom Tower 9/11 Memorial. Friendly staff, awesome food!!
Vibe, great Guinness and friendly atmosphere.
Good Irish menu and pub grub. Guinness poured perfectly.

Monk McGinns is a lively bar that offers a welcoming atmosphere for a night out with friends. The service is excellent, with friendly servers and a team that always makes guests feel comfortable, even in large groups. The bar has a good selection of tap beers, liquor, and a varied food menu. The food is solid, with generous portion sizes and a variety of options, including French fries, boneless buffalo wings, clam chowder, burger, salad, and fish and chips. The clam chowder is nicely seasoned, creamy and buttery, full of potatoes, carrots, and clam bits. The burger is cooked medium with cheese and bacon and has an appealing presentation. The salad features fresh components with tasty dressing, and the fish and chips are crispy on the outside and flaky inside, with fries that are not overly salted. The venue was very accommodating to large groups, and the food was a step above normal bar staples. The bartenders are top-notch and can make delicious cocktails, with Eddie being a standout. The bar has a cozy outdoor seating area and shows live sports games, though there is no sound on the TVs. The digital menus and wide drink options add to the modern, lively vibe. Overall, Monk McGinns is a great place for a night out with friends, offering friendly atmosphere, good food, and drink options.
