Good flavor selection
Lousy and overpriced
Yuck. Salted caramel pretzel just tastes like bread.
I love the affogato ice cream here
Easily one of the best traditional ice cream shops in Manhattan. But they also have the non traditional flavors. For those experimental, I highly recommend the salted egg pineapple (it’s giving Asian mooncake vibes) or the durian (mind blown).
Best in NYC
fell in love after buying a cup, and bought a whole pint home! my new favorite ice cream spot 🌟
While not cheap $10 for double scoop, the quality is excellent and service is friendly and efficient. Carmel pretzel was amazing and the mint chocolate chip was good but not the best I've ever had. Was a perfect end to walking through China Town and Little Italy as headed back to hotel.
Ugly ice cream, pretty bad service, nice place, overpriced without justification.
I chanced upon Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream after iftar with a friend and decided to be adventurous—trying the Pineapple and Salted Egg Ice Cream. No regrets! The flavor instantly reminded me of the Taiwanese Pineapple Tarts my mother used to make, bringing a sense of home in every bite. The ice cream was creamy, rich in pineapple flavor, with salted egg crumbs adding a delightful savory contrast. It was absolutely divine!
Now, I’m even more excited to return and try their Takis-flavored ice cream next. Can’t wait!

Used to be much better. Didn't taste list anything. Not sweet. Not flavourful. Smelled like cheese....
This review is for the ice cream cake it’s all ice cream no cake not worth 63$
First time here. Wednesday evening around 9pm. There was only one person making ice cream, and one person at register who did not step in to help. After 15 mins of waiting, my milkshake was finally put on the machine. It was sitting on the machine for well over five minutes while people who paid after me got their items. In all, I waited over 20 minutes for my milkshake, which was highly mediocre. A frustrating experience for a very expensive $14 milkshake. I’m happy to pay that much for a wonderful experience and product, but this visit and experience really missed the mark. PLEASE HIRE MORE STAFF!
Their ice cream is flavorless and honestly just not good. I’ve yet to find a flavor that tastes good. The “owner” is also very strange. Saw him cussing out another worker in the store… definitely a few loose screws.
Sent my assistant with Confirmation number and the associate forgot half the order I ordered two cakes! And only got one. I was going to order a courier to pick up the second cake and you can’t reach the store. Absolutely ridiculous will never order again. Also who doesn’t deliver in NYC IN
