Esteban is THE BEST. The arepas are great, sure. But come and sit down and chat with the owner who will take the best care of you, make you feel like family, and make you laugh a little too. Great little spot in the LES for a late night bite. Don’t sleep on this place!

The arepas are sooo good! The owner/chef used to work at the arepas place out in the Rockaways, which is also great. I've mostly gotten the Vegana and the Gato. Most of the time the meat options are sold out unfortunately. It takes 5-10 minutes for him to make the arepas but it is so worth it. The taste, the quality of the ingredients, all stand out. It is such a great value! Love this place!

Authentic and delicious Venezuelan arepas of many different flavors! Great capuccinos made with high quality Ethiopian and Colombian coffee. Try the ginger sugar cane lemonade and the chocolate or passion fruit pudin! (Definitely not an average one) Esteban, the owner is such a great host and artist! Highly recommended.

I live across the street from Morochas and LOVE this place. The owner is so kind and he always has the biggest smile when I wave on my way by. Obviously the arepas are amazing, but don't sleep on their passionfruit juice in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter....both incredible!
