My friends seemed to enjoy the ramen and the appetizers. But I was disappointed by my vegan ramen variant. It could have been so much more, lacking choices of extra add-ons.

Found this place by complete accident! I was in the area because I wanted Katz's Deli. The line was insane, so we decided to find a quiet place in the area with an open table. We settled on Mr. Taka Ramen when we saw they had space. We have had Ramen in many different cities and places, this was hands down the BEST Ramen I have ever had! The broth was delicious and so smooth, the flavors were perfect and the pork belly was done perfectly. If anyone is in the Lower East Side, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Tiny ramen spot with most of your standard options and then some. Got the spicy tonkotsu noodles which had a good kick. Gyoza was plump but didn’t strike me as especially interesting. Space is tight and the blaring red light can be a bit strong. Service seems distracted as well.
Chanced upon this ramen joint when looking for dinner in the neighbourhood after arriving in the city. Great vibes, nice and efficient service. The tonkostu ramen was very good, and the noodles on point. Great meal and experience!
