The best whitefish salad, and their knishes (kasha, sweet potato, classic) are always delicious, never disappointing. Really fine sable and sturgeon, too. The kugel can easily feed two and is a delectable sweet treat, as is the cinnamon crumb cake. Only wish the bagels were better. We can't have it all... but thanks!!

Visiting my son in NYC from Southern Illinois and he took me to Murray's. I teach in a college of business and my students hear a lot from me about the value proposition: the notion that people will gladly pay what you're asking as long as they feel they're getting value for their money. The lox here are expensive (literally twice as much as I pay back home), but the quality is so high that the value is beyond outstanding. Just fabulous. I wish they shipped.
Also tried the chopped liver and it was just as superb. Amazing.
Service just as outstanding as the food quality.

I can't believed that I've lived on the UWS for this long without having come to this place! Honestly, I only tried it because I was able to get a deal off a third-party app, and what a find! I got the bagel-lox sandwich with veggie cream cheese, and the gentlemen who prepared it (I think was the owner?) was wonderful.

The Sturgeon was truly amazing. They have a midweek deal right now where it is four bagels and a tub of cream cheese if you purchase $44 worth of fish. This was a great deal also. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the Pastrami sandwich, and a bagel with cream cheese & sturgeon. The pastrami and rye were fantastic, and the balance of mustard was top notch. However, the sturgeon was the star of the show. It literally melts in your mouth with how light and delicious it is. Highly, highly, recommend.

Top line place for Jewish appetizers, smoked salmon thinly and surgically sliced by experts. Bagels, pickled fish products, deli salads, chopped liver, desserts....all one would want in this delicious ethnic cuisine. Great service. Their style retains all the charm of a bygone deli counter that is very welcoming to me. Plus...OH THE FOOD! DELICIOUS!!

Sturgeon is excellent! Unfortunately is was server on a bagel that was very stale, making my $20 sandwich very disappointing.
I ordered 2 sandwiches and they weren’t made in tandem, I canceled the second because the first wasn’t fast. I was the only customer and there were 3 employees. Not the primary complaint, but it is somewhat important.
Delicious... Food one hundred percent recommended...

Delicious sandwiches!! I loved the pastrami on plain bagel, the potato salad is fantastic and the crumb cake was awesome!! I wasn't a big fan of the coleslaw. The turkey on wheat sandwich with mayo is great too.
