It’s a small, little gourmet Ramen place. Price is moderate going high. But the food is very good. This place was in my Bucket list and I finally went there. As I don’t live in NYC. My trusted Google Map led me there and finally I am in Nakamura. My next visit to NYC, I am coming back.

I ordered the tsukemen at this small, eight-table restaurant, which appears to be affiliated with the higher-quality Japanese spot next door. Ordering via QR code was convenient. The noodles, while a generous portion, aligned with the $25 price. The ajitama egg was well-prepared, boasting a lovely yolk. Overall, the bowl of Japanese noodles was decent, though it didn't quite reach the level of Okiboru. The place itself lacks any particular vibe. It's brightly lit and suitable for a quick meal, but don't expect much in terms of ambiance. The service was efficient, and the wait time was minimal. While the tsukemen was a solid offering, it didn't entirely justify the $25 price tag, making the value proposition somewhat questionable. The textures in the noodle bowl were pleasant, with the chewy noodles contrasting nicely against the soft egg. The broth, while flavorful, lacked the depth and complexity I was hoping for. The execution was competent, with fresh ingredients, but the overall experience was unremarkable. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this joint for a special occasion, but it serves its purpose for a quick and convenient meal.

The ramen is the real deal here. The insulation is poor and the music sucks.

It pains me to write a negative review for such a cozy spot with friendly staff, but the food was way too salty. Every time I picked up my noodles or corn ribs, I needed to shake off the excess tare/soup; otherwise, my kidneys would hurt. I hope it was just an off night, but I won't be back to find out.

Ramen here is emphatically mediocre -- you'd do much better at Ramen Ishida in this neighborhood, or Ippudo by Astor Place. Broth is fine, noodles are not as firm as I would like. I'm also not a fan of ordering through an app in a restaurant this small when I could literally tell the person making the ramen what I want to have. Kind of an anti-social experience. I don't understand the rave reviews at all. The gyoza also was not better than okay.

This is a really small place with only few tables and a small bar. We tried two kind of Ramen - classic pork broth which was rich and savory. And chicken broth with spinach and a perfectly cooked egg, this was also great, far more light than the pork broth and had thin noodles.
We started with a chicken gyoza which was nice.
The staff was super nice but you make the order through an app. The place could be cleaner, tables needed a decent amount of soap, not to mention the floor.

Large amount of noodles, decent toppings, and the egg was seasoned well. The broth is very dashi forward, which may or may not be a good thing. Noodles were soggy and overcooked.

Food tastes great, a shame they only give the smallest portions. If you want something filling id say to go somewhere else

Amazing ramen. My fiancé would always rave about this place. We took a day trip from FL for me to try this place out. It’s so good! True ramen here. And it’s very small indoors but worth it.

Great little ramen place next to the Williamsburgh bridge. Very friendly staff. The tontoro pork ($19) was delicious. The broth was creamy and not too salty. 1 Thick piece of slice pork could have been a bit more tender, but overall will def come back again to try the steak.

Big fan of their tonkotsu ramen! Hidden gem that has a lot of fresh innovative takes! It’s always rotating menu items.

Ton toro pork ramen was delicious. Broth was excellent. Could have had more or bigger pieces of meat, especially for a $19 ramen, and I didn't care for the pickled vegetables, which was not listed in the description. Definitely will come back to try the other ramens.
Ordering is done through toast and it is slow! Sometimes it fails to load an item.

I have seen Nakamura driving over the Williamsburg Bridge for years and finally got a chance to try it, and it did not disappoint. The Gyoza was standard, but the Ton Toro Pork Ramen, with Ajitama egg, was AWESOME! The broth was the best I’ve tasted in a ramen. The only complaint I have, and it’s a selfish one, is I wished they’d have given more chashu. They only gave one piece and it was so delicious - I wished they had given two pieces per order.
Definitely worth a trip back the next time I’m in the area.
