I had the most wonderful dining experience at this Greek restaurant, and it’s all thanks to Marina, our server. She is truly an exceptional person and the best waitress we’ve encountered.
Marina went above and beyond to help us, even though we don’t speak English very well. She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout our entire meal. Her warm personality and genuine care made us feel so welcome and comfortable.
The food was delicious, but it was Marina’s outstanding service that made our visit truly unforgettable. She made sure we understood everything on the menu and gave us excellent recommendations.
We will definitely be returning to this restaurant, and we hope to see Marina again. If you visit, ask for her - she will make your experience special!
Thank you, Marina, for being such a wonderful person and making our evening memorable!

The Hispanic host today in green had tremendous attitude issues and because of her, we would never dine here and advise the same.

Wonderful food and service. One minor complaint: menu lists lamb chops, but they came in the form of an intact rack of lamb, which is difficult and awkward to take apart at the table. It should have been pre-sliced in the kitchen beforehand. That having been said, it was delicious.

Had dinner at Nerai and tried a mix of dishes. We had lavraki, lobster pasta, steak, chicken, and baklava for dessert. Everything was nicely prepared and flavorful. Great spot for a relaxed but classy dinner in the city!

Restaurantji Recommends
Lobster pasta 🍝: strongly recommend
🦆 duck breast: the portion size is small (5-6 pieces for a $40 buck dish is not worth it). They didn’t ask us about how well we would like it to be done. It’s medium well when the dish is served…

My devotion to this place is complete. Fresh preparation but I needed a larger serving. The restaurant offers a cozy environment. Employees - top-notch - friendly and detailed. They've created a good experience and I'm pleased I visited.

I had a terrible experience there, I received my food and it was extremely cold. The women’s restroom it was infested with roaches. Management was terrible and absolutely no help, they rolled their eyes at me. I overheard the way they were speaking to the staff and if it was like nothing I’ve ever heard. I do not recommend this place at all, do not come here. You will be treated poorly

The lighting in the restaurant is extremely harsh and not welcoming, which immediately affects the overall atmosphere. I ordered the branzino with spinach, but unfortunately, the flavors were disappointing. The fish lacked depth or any real finesse in its preparation, and the olive oil used did not seem to be of good quality. The spinach was overly salty and had far too much garlic, overwhelming the dish.
What truly made me want to leave was the environment. A nearby table of four people was filming videos with cameras and lighting setups—TikTok-style content. Being in New York, I expected a refined, discreet dining experience, but this felt quite the opposite. I ate simply because I was very hungry, but I would not return. The space does not offer the elegance or calm it suggests from the outside.
