Monkey Bar Reviews
We got lucky with a last-minute reservation here. The retro design and cocktails set the tone for a really fun time. The Maitre D was very welcoming. Taylor took amazing care of our table and brought some really thoughtful goodies for the kids. The food is world-class. Nothing I could say that isn't already in the reviews except that some of my favorites were the more unassuming dishes - caesar salad w/ potato chips and white fish, chicken parm, desserts, etc. Overall, it was...read full review
Great place, cool vibe. The wait is long, try to reserve in advance. The martinis are great, the truffle bread is incredible and worth it. Loved the burger
First the staff is amazing! Everyone was very personable. I got lucky and snagged the last open seat at the bar. I ordered the pommes frites and monkey bread both were excellent and had great flavor. I loved it so much I included a pic of my neighbor’s meal. To my fellow vegetarians just be aware to ask if any ingredients contain animal products if not obvious in the menu. Will definitely be back.

Monkey Bar is a stylish restaurant with a cool supper club vibe, located in Manhattan. It offers a great atmosphere and excellent service. The food is delicious, including highly recommended dishes such as the wagyu cheeseburger, monkey bread, truffle bread, chicken Caesar, and wagyu burger with fries. The desserts and cocktails are also popular, with the Monkey Bar martini receiving high praise for its strength and flavor. The place has a charming bar at the front, perfect for enjoying cocktails in a lively setting. The staff is very accommodating, making guests feel welcome even when running late. The drinks are strong and well-made, and the food, like the spicy shrimp pasta, is big and tasty. The desserts are a must-try, and the overall experience is fun and enjoyable. However, the restaurant can be quite dark, making it hard to see across the table. The chef uses a lot of butter, which can make meals heavy, but the quality and flavor remain excellent.
