Nerea is absolutely my favorite place to visit whenever I'm in West Village - especially in the summer, when I always come back for their amazing cocktails and spritzers.
Tonight I had the Caesar salad and the Lobster pasta special, and both were fantastic. The wine selection is always great (if you don't know which one to pick, make sure to ask for recommendation!!), the food is consistently top-notch (so I forgot to take pics), and the service is truly what keeps me coming back. It's one those rare places that feels welcoming no matter the time or occasion.
A big thank you to Lukas, Julia, and the entire team for your warm hospitality as always. I can't wait to return!! At least I took a picture of the limoncello I had to have to get the food digested!

Amazing food! We started with the Burrata and prosciutto followed by the Tagliatelle al Ragu and Linguine cacio Pepe. An absolute must try! Our server Riccardo was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We finished the night with espresso martinis by Lukas and by far, the best espresso martinis we ever had!

Our Server Ricardo went above and beyond to ensure our food and drinks were perfect. I had the homemade tagliatelle ragu and it was simply fresh and delicious. Also, our espresso martini was perfectly balanced from our bartender Lukas! Overall a great experience! Highly recommend Nerea!

Food was average. It felt overpriced relative to the quality and portion size - the spaghetti entree consisted of four normal-sized bites, max. I heard it was much better when it opened, but it felt like they now were cutting corners to protects profit. It took almost 35 minutes for someone to take our food order.

Chic Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village, I arrived around 6:30 and managed to snag a spot during happy hour during a really cold winter night. They had an impressive selection of drinks, including Aperol Spritzes, Espresso Martini, and Negronis, all priced at an unheard-of $10. The happy hour menu also featured a variety of appetizers and bites. We started with the arancini appetizer from the happy hour menu.
For dinner, we indulged in the Parmigiana Dorata, a crispy fried eggplant topped with stracciatella cheese, basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, and a rich sauce. The Polpo Arrostito was another highlight, a grilled octopus served with sautéed broccoli rabe and stracciatella cheese (chef’s kiss 👌). To round off our meal, we enjoyed the Tagliatelle al Ragu.
The food was delicious and well-presented, though it could have benefited from a bit more seasoning and flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

The food was really good. We had made a reservation and there were three of us and we got one of the worst tables. But other than that it was great.

Came here to hang out with my friends. We started our dinner with some drinks. I got an espresso martini with vodka. It had just right amount of espresso and vodka, so the drink was balanced and smooth. It was delicious! Happy hour was not finished until 6:30pm, do each drink that we ordered were $10 each!
We also got 2 appetizers to share. One was Ceviche di Mare, and the other was Parmigiana Dorata. Ceviche di Mare was so delicious, it was made with some cubed fish “cooked” in lemon juice and served on top of a piece of crispy bread with some herbs and red onions. It was so simple and wholesome. Parmigiana Dorata was nice, too. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. The tomato sauce gave it a nice zing.
The bread before the meal was also very good. I just wish it was warm. The olive oil was good quality.
For the main course, we got 2 today’s special, a tomahawk steak cooked medium rare, and a gnocchi. The tomahawk was huge. The server said it was enough for 2-3 people. I didn’t believe him, because they tend to exaggerate. He was not kidding. The portion was big, and it was cooked perfectly. It came with roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus and steam broccolini. I have to say, it was one of the best roasted potatoes I’ve ever had. It was naturally sweet, and so crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The tomahawk was very tender, and had just right amount of fat. It was nice and juicy. The other two vegetables were nice, too.
The gnocchi was cooked pretty good. The texture was great. Sauce was well made as well.
We also got a Tagliatelle al Ragu. The pasta was homemade. I have never had a pasta like this. The texture was so unique and was totally different from the dried pasta. The sauce was nice, but not as great as the other two dishes.
The servers were nice and friendly. The whole restaurant was very clean. Recommend this place to hang out with friends and family! It’s got good food and good drinks!
