I wanted to try something that's not pho or bun thit nuong so I got a banh xeo. It was mostly bean sprouts and mung beans and not much pork and shrimp. It wasn't very crispy either. I liked that they gave a big plate of lettuce and basil. I don't think it was worth $18 (after tip and tax.) The food is 3 stars and the friendly service is an extra star.
One of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in NYC. They have a HUGE selection of dishes to pick from. I've been here many times, but it just occurred to me that I have never given them a review. If you're a fan of Vietnamese food, this place is a must try. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. The portion big and satisfying. Love this place. I keep going back to it since they give you large portions and you can get full for $10. I've ordered the bbq chicken everyday for a week on my visit to NYC, and I'll come back next time.
