Dropped by without reservation.
Good place for Korean food, fast service, and tap water provided.
Big portions. We went for bibimbap, fried rice and noodles. Starters are provided to every table, included in your price (kimchi, pickled vegetables, etc...)

Absolutely delicious cuts of meat, really tasty banchan, and great service. This place has it all. I wish it was a bit more affordable, but overall it felt it was worth the money.

You should not force me to Tip.
It is not a law in US
I have spent money there and I should be willing to tip depending with the service offered.
The gentleman who was doing the bill refused I leave until I sign a tipping receipt .So unprofessional!!

This place isn't bad for a KBBQ place, but it *was* the place that made me decide that KBBQ in Midtown isn't worth it any more.

The portions here, especially the beef, are shockingly small.

Everything is so...disappointing. If everything could be like 10% better overall, then it would be a much more enjoyable experience.

Terrible front desk service,
they have a bad attitude, discriminated against us for not being Korean, made us wait for 20 minutes, while we were waiting at least 6 people got in first, they didn't let us take the seats that were available, they reserved them for Koreans, it's very annoying, will never go there again, avoid it?

Came for lunch. The food - galbi and all the many included appetizers were delicious. The service was good, as well as the seating in the restaurant itself. And the lunch special was a great value. What more could you ask for in a restaurant?

Wonjo is one of the oldest restaurants in Ktown and it’s apparent with how traditional and authentic their food tastes. If you’re looking to come in for lunch you probably don’t need a reservation, but closer to dinner it gets extremely busy. We ordered the Wonjo Combo with spicy tofu soup, Dduk Boki, and seafood pancake. The spicy tofu soup was extremely rich in flavor and just an amazing start to the meal. The Wonjo combo itself was a bit smaller than I would’ve liked, but the marinated prime ribeye was incredibly tender, juicy, and just all around amazing. It was definitely the highlight of the combo, but it was a bit unfortunate that the combo was so small. The dduk boki came last and it was great, the rice cakes were very chewy and the sauce was just perfect. Everything we ordered was great and tasted very authentic. The only problems I had were the combo portions were small and our servers completely forgot our rice and forgot to add an item for us, but honestly everything was so good that it makes up for it. I will definitely be coming to Wonjo again and I look forward to trying different things!

Use to come here in my younger days after clubbing. Glad it's still thriving. Food is still solid. Generous banchan. Great spot for your K food fix
