I enjoyed this place. More than one vegan main option, plus vegan onigiri and vegan sides. Most things clearly labeled, and it's authentically Japanese in the sense that the food being served does not feel like something slapped together for an American vegan (I had a "bean bun" as the protein in my bento, which was great)
I used to follow a macrobiotic diet about 20 years ago and love to see this stall in the Essex market have dishes along those lines. It's great to have simply made dishes that are too processed or salty.
Been there a few times, food is usually decent if overpriced (6.5 for small onigiri!) but today the sushi rice was hard like uncooked or leftover. The man is not particularly friendly & the 50 cent card charge seems silly.
