Hands down the best yakiniku place I’ve had in New York City! We got the beef tongue and the Futago Select for lunch. The wagyu beef in the set was OUT OF CONTROL!!!!! The matcha tiramisu is also so so good!!! The service was very attentive and nice!!!!! Would definitely recommended everyone to come!!!
Excellent and authentic food, presentation and service, elegant interior design with a small garden and fountain up front. A wonderful hidden gem in SoHo! The matcha tiramisu is a must-have, and we had the sukiyaki which tasted exactly like what we had in Japan. The staff is very respectful and understanding of meat substitutions for folks who don't eat beef. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience!
We’ve been to Yakiniku Futago Soho multiple times, and it’s perfect every visit. The zen garden creates a calm, elegant vibe, and the beef is always tender, flavorful, and beautifully cooked at the table. Friendly service and consistent quality make this one of our favorite spots in Soho!
