First off, the cacio e pepe has got a chokehold on my dreams it was so incredibly good -- creamy, peppery, delicious. Paired with a light sauvignon blanc, I had an excellent and impromptu evening as a jetlagged solo traveller. I was able to sit up at the bar which was very nice, and got to enjoy the gorgeous room full of plants, string lights, and gentle music. It's definitely more on the expensive side, but this is NYC so it didn't seem unwarranted. It can definitely get busy so if you're a group of more than one person you might want to make a reservation in advance.

Too bad, it's too cold in winter. We had dinner there last night and everyone had their coat or a blanket or their hat. The food was mediocre... only the setting is pretty (but not heated 🤣).

The place is undoubtedly beautiful but I was so disappointed by the latest menu: food options are very basic compared to what it used to be a few months ago while prices remain as high. I'd come back for a drink but not for dinner.

Overhyped place. Only highlight is the ambience and french toast, rest everything is average and service is poor. Pizza and chicken sandwich were not that good. Note: please remember to confirm your order once server notes it down since they are very good at messing it up and charging it to your check.
