I recently dined at Soho Thai restaurant in Chinatown for their lunch special priced at $16.95, which seemed reasonable. However, I was disappointed to find out that substitutions for drinks incurred an extra charge, as did additions like squid, shrimp, beef, or crispy duck in the Pad Thai, ranging from $3 to $5 each. The restaurant is decent, good for a quick lunch. We opted for the lunch specials which included appetizers, drinks and main dishes. The fried rice had a pleasant taste without being overly greasy. However, the noodle dishes were salty, leaving me feeling very thirsty after the meal.

The place is so good! The special lunch menu is the best option as you will have a starter+main dish + drink. The flavor is unique in each dish! Iced tea was amazing. Great deal for vegetarians and vegans. Also, there are gluten-free options.
