NOMO Kitchen offers an overall decent dining experience, though there are some notable drawbacks. The inside is very noisy, making it difficult to enjoy the meal, so guests often opt to sit outside on the covered patio, even if it rains. The restaurant serves generous portions, such as chicken and waffles, which can be a bit dry. Service is courteous but can be slow and inconsistent, with delays in drink refills and clearing plates. The food quality varies: appetizers like spinach artichoke dip and garlic cheese dip are enjoyed, but hummus is not well-received due to its taste and insufficient accompaniments. Main dishes include the grilled cheese short rib sandwich and buffalo fried chicken sandwich; however, the bread for both is very dry, and flavorless focaccia and peppers hinder the grilled cheese. The fried chicken with Gorgonzola sauce is delicious, and the short rib is spectacular when eaten from a fork. Despite some tasty dishes, the combination of noisy atmosphere, inconsistent service, and food misses leads to the decision not to return.
