My son and I just stayed at the WSH a few nights ago I couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the location. It’s located in a good, clean neighborhood and there is plenty to do and plenty of places to eat! I look forward to my next stay!
I consider myself lucky to have visited this restaurant yesterday. My visit was impromptu, as I was on my way to another location. Since I was not very hungry I ordered only a dessert and a drink. The dessert was the chocolate mousse cake, which was so smothered in a coating of melted chocolate that the mousse part was almost imperceptible. The drink was the Pear & Elderflower Martini and it was good. I told two of the waiters that the chef should consider changing the name...
It was a really neat place and the staff was amazing. My friend and I had the duck. It had good flavor but was a bit on the chewy side. However, it was a perfect medium rare. I would try something different the next time I go.
