Went to Babbo with three of my girlfriends and we had a wonderful time! The sommelier, Scott, helped us find exactly what we were looking for from the extensive wine list and Grant provided excellent service that was attentive, warm, and welcoming. The seasonal menu was outstanding and it was perfect for an elevated dinner while also being a great neighborhood Italian spot. Although this place was great 20 years ago, it has slid a little bit. I first came here about 20 years ago. And this was one of the best restaurants in New York City. It's not the same, but still worth a visit. The service was disjointed and rushed and then inconsistent. Also, the food had some great highlights, but also some low lights as well.
