There for my wife's birthday. Excellent experience and we loved everything. Service was also great! Looking forward to the next visit!
I'm trying to remember exactly when I went to Nougatine for the first time. I want to say it was in 1999 -- a few years after it opened. Even in olden time when the year started with a "1" the experience was wonderful. I think I've been at least twice a year since. Nougatine is always memorable without being "over the top" in any one direction to appeal to the social media proletariat. It's a quintessential example of "fine dining". Dishes are simple and flavourful in unexpected ways. Foie gras, watermelon salad, and the burger (rare) are exceptional. Service is impeccable -- always -- without being stuffy, overbearing, or awkward. And, of course, the dining room is a serene sanctuary that lets you exhale in the greatness of the City of New York.
Amazing set menu for New York restaurant weeks . Truly great food all well prepared and presentations .
Had never dined at Nougatine. Went during Restaurant Week. The dink menu inventive. The portions were big and DELISH! Service attentive. Loved everything about the space and the noise level better than most restaurants these days. Highly recommend. Will be going back!
A trusted name and source for high dining. Still has plenty to like and give as a experience in NYC. Food is terrific. Portions are not overwhelming. Desserts are not to be missed. Luckily you should have room to indulge yourself. Centrally located, just off Central Park West in the Trump Intl Hotel and Towers on Columbus Circle.

Great service and food is always outstanding. Love how they always have seasonal ingredients featured on their menu. Squash this time, but last time, peas. Those dishes are always a good bet.
What an amazing experience! Foodies everywhere make this stop a priority. Everything was excellent!

Lunch was tight but staff and kitchen worked out well and we had time for dessert pre theatre!
Very nice place ! I loved it .. all of it : quiet , well lit , super friendly staff, good wine list and delicious food . I love places that use imagination with dishes . Nougatine has it all. No matter what you order , you can't go wrong . And the best part is desert ! We had passion fruit soufflé and literally licked the plate ! Already came here twice and I'm sure will come back for more !
I enjoyed dining at Nougatine by Jean George for a Friday dinner. As I entered the lovely restaurant, I was greeted by a wonderful hostess Natalia who took me to a table and she was so lovely to speak with about the restaurant. My servers were Mert and Liam and they very professional and courteous to me. They were very efficient in taking my order. They also served me complimentary mini appetizer which was a delightful surprise. The back server Deniz was nice too. I enjoyed the Pea soup and the Shrimp salad with avocado. The service was excellent and the food was so fresh and delicious. Thank you to the entire staff at Nougatine for making my time there so enjoyable.

Excellent spot for a meal prior to a performance at Lincoln Center! Food and Service were fantastic! Don't skip the Tuna Tartare!
Wonderful food, the pea soup is unbelievable! The cocktails are delicious. Best service too.
The service was outstanding. We went with our 4 year old and our server was so very sweet with him. The appetizers and drinks were perfect, so suggestions for improvement. We ordered the ribeye for 2 and that is where the meal lost one star- the cut was tough and chewy, not tender and juicy. Perhaps we are just spoiled where we are from, we go to our neighborhood steak restaurant and order the bone in ribeye weekly and it's always perfect. But we were very disappointed. However, it was still absolutely lovely overall.
Fantastic service and food. A beautiful restaurant atmosphere which makes for a great dining experience.
It keeps getting better & better! The freshness, quality & even quantity of the food is stunning. The only sour note is that their wine prices have become even more stratospheric. After scouring it in some detail, I can fairly confidently state that their extensive list now likely has less than a dozen bottles under $100 each!
