Amazing omakase experience. Really unique and delicious cuts of fish. The otoro was so buttery. The service was amazing. I enjoyed this more than Sushi Nakazawa or Ito and it’s significantly less expensive. Can’t believe how easy it was to get a res

A good a la carte dinning experience at this fusion and chic Japanese restaurant. Mishik also offers omakase, but we decided to try the a la carte because of the abundant sushi/sashimi selections. Some noteworthy picks from the nigri menu: blackthroat seaperch, kinmadai and 2 variety of yellowtails; all were quiet delicious. The starters were also interesting and tasted good. I also liked the miso seabass, flavorful and good texture. Sercice was friendly and cordial. The decor and atomsphere here is chic and hip, with ample seatings of varies sized tables and counter areas.
An outstanding sushi experience from start to finish. The sushi, sashimi, and omakase were incredibly fresh, with high-quality fish sourced directly from Japan. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, from the chef’s house-made soy sauce to the perfectly seasoned rice that complemented each piece beautifully.
What impressed me most was the exceptional quality offered at a very reasonable price point. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu, offering excellent recommendations throughout the evening.
If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality sushi with outstanding service and great value, this is a place well worth visiting

food is amazing (i’ve dined in many times), but service is lacking and tainted by the male host named janno (?). i’m not sure what his attitude was for, as i was only asking simple questions like how long our take out order sushi was sitting on the counter. (they didn’t call to let us know when the order was ready for pick up)… and even when i placed the order on the phone he didn’t like when i asked when it was going to be ready…
i would go back again but he gotta go :)

I had such a nice dining experience here. The presentation alone is pretty — every dish feels like a piece of art.
The fish and uni sushi were fresh and buttery, with a perfect balance of flavor and texture.
The atmosphere is calm and refined but still comfortable, making it great for both date nights and a relaxed dinner. Service was attentive without being overwhelming.
Overall, Mishik delivers a high-quality Japanese dining experience that feels thoughtful and refined without being too formal. Definitely worth visiting if you love sushi and beautifully plated dishes.

I recently had dinner at Mishik in New York for a date night, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. The food was honestly the highlight. Every dish we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can tell there’s real attention to detail, both in presentation and taste. What stood out just as much was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome without being overbearing. It added to the whole experience and made the night feel smooth and easy. Good food, good vibes, i can't ask for more. I’d definitely come back again.

My husband had Gyudon which was good but I loved my charcoal chicken don - so yummy! The meat was cooked perfectly and the vegies that came with it are so good. I also like that they use paper bowl.

Absolutely loved this place! The sashimi platter was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Every piece melted in my mouth—especially the tuna and uni, which were rich and full of flavor. The portion size was generous, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients.

Turned away at 1015 that the kitchen closes at 10pm. Restaurant was empty. Just close at 10!
