One of our favorite spots, always an incredible time! We LOVE the beef tartare and lobster ramyun - unreal dishes! Looking forward to coming back!

We just love Oiji Mi - such a fabulous food and drinks experience in a beautiful setting. Superb service too!

The food was really outstanding from beginning to end. The wine pairing didn't hurt, it was all really well done. Dinner for 2 was ~$600 so about part for a 5 course tasting with wine. If there was any critique, we felt a bit rushed. The service team wants to clear tables and keep the food moving. For us, we wanted to sip the wine and savor the food a bit. There was one point where I was asked if I was done, I said no. 30 seconds later a different person came to the table and literally took the plate while I was still chewing. Its a bit loud but also lively. Take this as a small critique because I'll 100% go back, it was very good.

Jook, galbi, bingsu are amazing life experiences. Miss the pork ssam (the one that was just a suckling pork shank). Replacement is lamb and lamb is a more controversial meat imo (yes I hate lamb).

Started out a little bit rocky, there was quite a long wait to be seated for a 930 reservation. Then there was some confusion with the wine pairing we ordered, champagne was poured with the first course and then cleared and nothing came with the second or third. Turns out the champagne was a recovery for the long wait and there was confusion about us having ordered the wine pairing. The staff recovered this well I thought, while we missed the pairing from the middle courses they offered a discounted pairing and some delicious caviar donuts to make up for it. The experience was still great.

We went for a birthday celebration. We love incredible food that's unusual, exciting and delicious - this did not disappoint. It was wonderful!

The food was decent and reflected Korean flavors well but overall it didn’t feel elevated. The plating was beautiful and thoughtfully done, but the flavors themselves felt a bit lacking and not very memorable. Our favorites were the Oiji bowl and the goguma dessert. The bowl had familiar flavors but executed in a more refined way, and the goguma dessert was especially charming both in concept and taste. The combination with ice cream and hazelnut worked really well.

My least favorite dish was the yukhoe naengmyeon, which was quite disappointing. I’ve had many better versions of similar dishes, and in this case the yukhoe and the naengmyeon textures didn’t work well together. The cod was also underwhelming as the fish didn’t seem to be the best quality and while the soup itself was flavorful, the radish and fish didn’t absorb the flavors well. The galbi was tender and enjoyable, but it didn’t taste particularly Korean. However the garlic puree served with the galbi had a much stronger Korean flavor and ended up being better than the meat itself.

The champagne dessert was another letdown. It didn’t stand out and felt more like shaved ice with grapes, especially compared to other desserts at nice restaurants. But the cocktails were pretty good tho

The biggest disappointment was the overall experience. The tables were very close together, and the service felt rushed as plates were cleared even while we were still eating, despite the fact that we were already eating faster than most other tables. The restaurant felt extremely packed, loud, and crowded, which didn’t match the $250 per person price point (new years eve menu). I remember visiting a while ago when it felt more spacious and less crowded and rushed but this time it felt very off

If you’re looking for a romantic date night spot, considering many other places in the city, Oiji Mi may not be the best choice. However, it does seem better suited for group settings, such as double dates or dining with parents!

Absolutely amazing experience, largely due to Beck at the bar. I have a shellfish allergy, and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about both the menu and traditional food preparation. Cannot recommend more highly!

We ordered the tasting menu at Oiji Mi. The beef tartare stood out with good texture, paired with pear, noodles, and a cold broth that felt like a cold soup and noodle combination. Refreshing and balanced.
The scallop and mushroom soup had nicely cooked scallops that were very tender, but the seasoning leaned salty and the creamy base felt a bit heavy.
The fish course didn’t work well for me, as the seafood flavor came across stronger and slightly fishy.
The steak was solid, with good texture, easy to bite through, and a light char on the outside.
We also added a seafood rice bowl with uni, sweet shrimp, and roe. The ingredients were fresh and the uni was sweet, making this a safe choice.
One noticeable element throughout the meal was the frequent use of black truffle. Personally, I didn’t find that it added much to the dishes, and the truffle aroma was quite subtle.
Desserts were thoughtfully prepared, especially the yuzu granita paired with ice cream, which helped refresh the palate.

Probably the best prepared 7 course menu I’ve ever had. From start to finish everything was amazing. And our table host was as good as they come. Funny, knowledgeable, and personable. 5 stars all around.

Highly recommend the tasting menu. The standard wine pairing was very interesting highlighting some unique wines (the reserve pairing seemed for those that want a more traditional wine pairing, so something for everyone). Service was very friendly and atmosphere was lively.

Came for the Christmas holiday menu, liked it! Beautiful Korean flavors, cocktail came out of a tea 🫖🍵

They don't talk annoyingly much like in other American places. Evening well spend!

Terrible value for money. Paid $75 for 4-5 slices of beef totaled 4 ounces. Seriously got scammed

We were here on Christmas Eve, when they offered a special 8-course tasting menu. The food was outstanding, and portions were nicely sized - big enough for a good taste, yet small enough that we were not overwhelmed, and were able to eat everything. The meal was not cheap, but we were aware in advance. And the Korean-inspired food was worth it. Most of the patrons were young Korean professionals. The service was also amazing, with seamless teamwork among a host of servers.
