If you like getting harassed about how many minutes you have left before you get kicked out, then this is the place for you. There is a time limit for how long you can stay regardless of how much you’re spending. They hit you with this as soon as you sit down. Then hover and check in throughout your time to give you the countdown periodically. When they kicked me out, there were still plenty of tables and seats at the bar, but that didn’t matter, my time was up and they told me to with a fake smile that I had to go. It was a fun experiment to really test my limits of how unwelcome and rushed I could feel before getting angry. It was also embarrassing that I chose this place to have a catch up with a friend who I hadn’t seen in awhile.

The cocktails are amazing. The environment is very nice but the super transactional business model of rushing people out ruins the experience completely. It’s suppose to be lounge-esque but you can’t lounge. After having ordered one drink at the bar we were told we would have to close out because of another reservation. Having been to many exclusive cocktail bars I have never experienced this. I highly recommend getting back to focusing on the customer experience over turning over tables/seats.

Recommended to me by a friend, I decided to bring VIP guests here. I was very pleased with the hostess, the wait staff, the fact that they sat us in the corner seat on the sofa where it was darker and more relaxed…pretty much everything was on point. The drinks were excellent too and the little hiccup we had was immediately acknowledged with some complimentary snacks. Really great job to the entire team, and thank you for your hospitality.

This “speakeasy” can be found through Osamil's inner staircase. However, you can’t order the food from the restaurant itself, but the bar does have some bar food (we had the Upstairs “Bites” chicken and sweet potato fries - nothing special). The cocktails were slightly on the higher end -$21 and up. I had Sol, and my friend had Upstairs ($28). While both drinks were decent at the point of consumption, they didn’t leave any memorable impressions. The bar decor was nice and spacious. Service was prompt. But as far as a speakeasy goes, it didn’t land as a top one for me.

I met a friend for Happy Hour at Osamil Upstairs -- my first time. Let's just say I WILL be back. I loved the warm, chic, and welcoming vibe.
It felt like I was out, but at the same time in someone's thoughtfully curated and well-designed living room. The seats were comfortable. The lighting and decor were awesome. I seek out a specific vibe when I go out and Osamil Upstairs nailed it.
The whole reason I came was for Happy Hour, so most importantly the DRINKS were amazing. My friend and I got the Pandora and it did not disappoint. It was beautifully crafted and delicious on a 95-degree Summer day. We stayed longer than intended, and it was just perfect. The place was also clean and the service was top notch. I'll be back, Osamil Upstairs! Keep doing what you are doing!

Osamil Upstairs is truly a gem that serves perhaps the best craft cocktails in Ktown. We’ve had this speakeasy on our list for a long time, and I’m glad we finally got a chance to visit. Tucked away behind a secret door and up a narrow winding staircase from the downstairs restaurant, you enter through a nondescript red door and are greeted with a posh interior with warm lighting.
Our group was lucky and got the best seat in the house, in the center of the lounge and by the windows. Service was quick and the staff were extremely kind. We tried a selection of both signature and classic cocktails, and they were all spectacular. The Baebae was a group favorite: A light and refreshing concoction of soju, vodka, and pear liqueur that was perfect for the summer heat. Other notable callouts were Sol, a smoky Negroni, and their classic mezcal Negroni and Vesper martini.
Do yourself a favor and check out Osamil Upstairs. We were all pleasantly surprised and I can confidently say that we’ll be back often as our go-to speakeasy around Ktown.
