Though basically a chain restaurant at this point the food is pretty good. Fish and chips nicely prepared. Good winter salad. It is a decent option near Lincoln Center. Service is excellent. Warm atmosphere. Not too pricey
I've been to P.J. Clarke's Lincoln SQ location a few times over the years and have always had an enjoyable experience. On my last lunch visit in August, I ordered coffee as a beverage. My server gladly offered refills, even removing half finished cups and supplying a new cup. Upon getting the bill and to my surprise, I was charged $4 for each refill. Man, was I annoyed! Not only that, the coffee was only so-so.

Not too long after we were also greeted by our waiter, who provided us with the menu and gave us a little time before coming back to take out order. Once our waiter had returned to take out order, the look on his face seemed displeased and didn’t want to care much.
