I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with this bakery. I ordered a cake for a very special occasion and provided clear instructions along with a reference image for how I wanted it to look. Unfortunately, what I received was a far cry from what was promised. The design lacked the details and colors I requested, and instead of the elegant and detailed cake I envisioned, I received something that looked hastily put together and cheap.

When I reached out to express my concerns, the response I received was dismissive and unapologetic. The excuse given was that the cake I had referenced was smaller than the size I ordered, which has no relevance to the fact that the colors, piping, and overall execution did not match my instructions. It was clear they did not take the time or effort to ensure the order was executed properly, despite the importance of this occasion.

What is worse, instead of offering any meaningful resolution or compensation, I was left feeling as though my concerns were not taken seriously. This is not only poor customer service but also unacceptable for a business that is supposed to make celebrations special.

I would not recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality, attention to detail, or professionalism. This experience has left me heartbroken, and I will definitely not be using their services again.

I used to enjoy coming to Padoca, especially for the unique drink options they offered. In the past couple of months however, A lot of the drink options listed were not available, and the drinks they did have are way too sweet! Today I decided to try one more time and went in for Apple Cider which was, once again, out of stock, mind you it's the fifth time I've tried buying this. I then decided to order the caramel latter and it was COMPLETELY undrinkable. It was so sweet yet sour at the same time, as if something has spoiled. I could barely taste the coffee, and when I did it tasted burnt. Their scones are also very dry lately, and their muffins are not as flaverful. I don't think I'll be stopping by anytime soon again, but am moving over to the new coffee place one block over, Sebastian's!

We ordered my daughter's birthday cake from here and could not recommend this place more strongly! The cake looked fantastic and was absolutely delicious. The ordering and collection process was also absolutely seamless. I will be ordering all our future celebration cakes from Padoca.

Ordered our wedding cake from here and it was perfect! I ordered online and made a mistake with the pick up location which they changed for me. Response was great and picking up the cake was quick and easy. I recommend for sure! I got this 6 inch heart cake.

We ordered cupcakes from Padoca for my daughter‘s second birthday, and they were AMAZING!! A big hit. Several of my daughter’s friends I think we’ll be getting Padoca cupcakes for their birthday too. But perhaps even more important than the delicious cupcakes, with the Customer Service. Due to illness I had to the party at the last minute and they were so flexible. That meant a lot to me. Thanks again so much, and can’t wait to order cupcakes for our next event!

The cake was great, made promptly and beautifully. However, it’s really frustrating not to be able to call the bakery. If you want to submit or change an order, or even just inquire about one, you have to email. I would be hesitant to order in the future because of this. I don’t want to spend 2-3 days going back and forth through email to inquire about custom orders, which the website doesn’t always accommodate.

I recently bought a cake from Padoca Bakery, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The design was absolutely stunning, with elegant details that made it almost too gorgeous to eat. But once we cut into it, the taste exceeded all expectations. Every bite was moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. This cake was a showstopper both in looks and taste. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Obrigada Padoca!!!

I ordered my wedding cake from padoca. When I initially came in about a month ago, Sandra helped me and she was absolutely lovely. I let her know I would be bringing my own ‘just married’ stencil, which she said was not a problem.

On August 29th at 3:30PM (just over a week before the wedding) I dropped off the stencil. The person working the counter assured me he would let the owner know. Me being slightly paranoid - I made sure he wrote the order number, my name, and the date and time of pick up on the stencil box.

A few days prior to the wedding some things had moved around in our wedding day schedule and we needed to pick up at 8am instead of the initial 10am I had quoted. I tried to find a phone number for the bakery to make sure this is not a problem. I was disappointed to see that there was no way to reach them by phone. This is not ideal for a business. I sent an email and they ok’d it and said they would make a note.

Fast forward to my wedding morning, I received a notification at around 7:55am that it was ready for pick up. My friend went to the bakery to pick up the cake. There was no stencil on it and they had no idea what she was talking about. They told her it wasn’t ready for pick up. She also let me know the person she was dealing with was quite rude.
She had to leave and come back after a few hours once they had finally located the stencil.

This added immense stress to an already stressful morning. I bought this cake specifically for our wedding shoot and now I was worried it wasn’t going to make it.

The lack of organization especially for something so important was unacceptable.

With that said, the cake itself was delicious. Sandra was also very kind and helpful, she recommended the vanilla with dulce de leche and it was divine.

I ordered a birthday cake for my sister’s 21st birthday and it was a simple and fast process. The cake was perfect! Moist, lux, mouth-watering - the Brigadeiro filling was to die for! Thanks for making my sister’s birthday amazing! Also very responsive via email.

We ordered 50 cupcakes for my daughter birthday party. Half chocolate half vanilla. Both types were easily the worst cupcakes I have ever eaten. They were completely flavorless. They also had a weird structure and were falling apart on all the kids.

Excellent chocolate chip cookie.

Tried some of their small round delicacies made with condensed milk, was not my favorite.

Vegetarian options: It looks like a bakery and coffee shop. I’m sure they have some non-vegetarian items as well, but it would be easy to avoid.
