$3.49 for a hot dog. Very famous place, small place. Very classic flavors but delicious. From the moment you stand in line, maybe 2 minutes you get it, then 30 seconds later you're done and you take another 2 to go because it's so nice. I wouldn't come here especially, but if I pass by the area again, I'll pop in for a hot dog.

One tiny hotdog cost $3.5. And if you pay with credit card, you have to pay additional 4% in addition to the tax. The first and last time visiting this place.

For the third time I ordered a fish sandwich and they didn't put tartar sauce like I asked them to. I definitely will not be ordering from this place anymore and that's kind of sad because I think the food's good but I don't understand why they can't just put tartar sauce on the fish sandwich. I just don't get it.

I got the two hotdog drink combo. It came to $9.20. The hotdogs were good, but I did pay the price 3 hours later. I nearly had an accident on the subway. Normally I would recommend. I haven’t been there in years but thought they went downhill based on this experience.

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

Dos dawgs w/ ketchup, mustard, & sauerkraut. Pina colada cuz the soda machine was luckily out of service. Good enough for Sandra Bullock & Rihanna, but I'd have been more wowed by wall pictures of Anne Hathaway & Janelle Monae!

This place is the definition of fine. You can get a decent dog and drink for an affordable price. Nothing is spectacular but what did you expect for the price? There are a few tables outside with no indoor seating. Don't expect much and you'll be fine.

I got two hot dogs and a drink. On the menu it said $8.99, which is overpriced already. Then add tax and it’s $9.79, so practically $10 for two dogs and a drink. Then the hot dogs are the skinniest hot dogs I have ever seen and my drink was half foam. So two super skinny hot dogs and half of a papaya drink for $10 is a poor value for my money.

If you're looking for a no-frills, classic New York City hot dog experience, Papaya Dog is the place to go. I recently stopped by, and while it's not a fancy joint, it definitely delivers on what it's known for: quick, affordable, and satisfying fast food.

The hot dogs were tasty—just the right amount of snap when you bite into them—and I appreciated the fresh, simple toppings. The fries were crispy and hot, and paired perfectly with their signature papaya drink, which adds a unique twist to the meal.

The service was efficient, and though the place is a bit cramped and bustling, it’s part of the NYC charm. It’s not a spot where you’d sit down for a long meal, but for a quick, delicious snack, it hits the mark.

If you’re in the mood for an authentic, fast-food hot dog experience while in NYC, Papaya Dog is a solid option

One of the best bargains in NYC. Two delicious hot dogs with mustard and sour kraut plus a papaya drink for under $10.
