Pappardella is a classic neighborhood gem of a classic Italian restaurant that has been serving such fabulous cuisine for decades. It is warm, friendly, cozy and inviting. It has the feel of a well established place. The charm of the staff ensures you enjoy your evening with skill and dedication. The food was exceptional. Each course as delicious and exceptional as the previous bite. The menu is varied and inventive. We started with the sautéed calamari. We followed that with spaghetti frutti di mare and the scalopine di vitello al marsala. Both fantastic choices so good. Don't pass up the chance to enjoy this special spot.

Pappardella is our go to restaurant whenever my wife and I are in the neighborhood or are catching a show at the nearby Beacon Theater. The restaurant has a “neighborhood” feel to it which always makes it a great dining experience. You are always greeted warmly at the front door and that sets the tone for the rest of your evening. The manager, Marion stops by every table to check in with every patron and the wait staff ( kudos to our waitress Mary ) is polite, respectful and always ready to assist with any questions or special requests you may have. Lastly, the menu has many delicious appetizers, entrees and special from which to choose and the wine list is top notch. Have a meal here once and you will be sure to return.

Last night was a bit too busy and noisy because of a special performance and the Beacon Theatre. We came with 2 friends who loved it. For dessert, we had the zabaglione, which was heavenly. Service is kind, professional, and attentive.

Just had my first visit to Pappardella and I can say I was definitely not disappointed. This has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The service was second to none. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. I would highly recommend. Looking to head back again very soon!

Nice little neighborhood spot. 6 of us enjoyed our appetizers (margarita pizza was delicious) and dinners. Pastas and chicken parm very good. Would recommend making a reservation as restaurant was full on a Wed night. Will definitely return!

Food was good, very loud, tables are too close in some spots. Service was on point! Eggplant appetizer was not as described and too soggy for my taste. My dinner was very good, pasta was perfect Al dente. My mom's dinner was good and large enough for her to take home. Might try a weeknight to avoid how crowded the dining room was.

We picked Pappardella since we were going to a show at the Beacon. We all got caught in traffic driving in to the city, but the restaurant was notified and kept our reso. We wound up being pressed for time—our server was great, he took our order and got everything in motion. The food was amazing!!! Also, they do have Gluten Free pasta available. I only wish I could have packed up my leftovers!!! One thing to note, if you are dining here on a busy night, the sound level is def energetic! Come anyway—the food is worth it!!!

We dined here 3 times during a week's stay and not just for convenience!! The food is excellent. I had the best dessert that I have had in a very long time (lemon olive oil cake with lemon sorbet). The orecchiette with broccoli rabe is outstanding. Wait staff are very accommodating and the atmosphere, while a bit noisy, is upbeat. A great value!

We had to wait over 15 minutes for our table and our waiter disappeared before giving an our check. We had to go to the maitre'd to get it.
Pappardella never disappoints. We stumbled upon it on our first trip to NY after moving to CT and we keep coming back. The food is delightful, the service exemplary.

We were served and ate within half an hour so if you’re looking for convenience and a more fancy Italian experience, this is a decent place.
But for the price, you can get better pasta. It was by no means bad, but have had much better for the same price and while I always appreciate free bread, the bread had clearly been out for a bit.
You could do worse and you could also do better.
