The food was delightful and fresh. The open space was comfortable. Ivan, the waiter and was fantastic.

This was our 1st time at Pappadella, but it will not be our last. We ate at an outdoor table, and the neighborhood vibe--in central NYC!--was demonstrable. We had read that portions were large, so we began with tiny carpaccio di manzo: the thinnest slices of tenderloin beef generously bedecked with slivers of truffle and truffle oil: simply perfect. We followed up with a pasta funghi et tartufo and a pan-seared bronzino. Both were fabulous--and filling. Nevertheless we split a huge!) tiramisu for dessert, and we walked away a very happy couple.

Pappardella is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. Great food, as always but they brought out our entrees when we weren't even half way through our first course and I really was bothered by that.

Excellent food and service. Prices for the meals are very affordable especially for NYC. Our table had delicious pastas and chicken franchise. The flour less chocolate cake was Devine.

There is simply no better place to go before a show at the Beacon. always good, always efficient, always reliable, and priced fairly by today's standards

Very nice service. Lovely setting. Food. Somewhat disappointing Top menu item papperdella da Buttera disappointing. You think, right, it should be their best dish given the name and all. Caesar salad was meager and mediocre but at least it was $18! Drinks. Well done. Nice setting outside on on side street. Our waiter Mark was a champion. Bar. Makes a good martini. Interior noisy but very atmospheric. But on a summer night we were happy outdoors. Be happier if the kitchen stepped up its game a bit. Two orders of veal Milanese while admittedly a little off menu in preparation, we're disappointing to both diners.

We spent a few Ben's & both fhe Waitress and either the Owner or host paid entirely too much attentions the regular's That's why when we come back to see a show at the Beacon Jackson Browne this time and many others we will pass on this restaurant. Sadly .

I usually love this restaurant for the food service and atmosphere but the food this time was nothing special. I'm writing it off as a bad night and will give it another chance as I've always had great experiences there before this one.

Lunch at Pappardella with three friends was delicious, and the service was very attentive. The restaurant was quiet on a Thursday afternoon, and we appreciated being able to linger at the table. Ingredients for our salads, sandwiches and pasta dish were fresh. We'll be back!

My wife and I came to Pappardella before going to the Beacon Theater. The food was superb, quite possibly, the freshest and best pasta we have ever had. The service was outstanding, very prompt and attentive, but never rushed. I highly recommend

Another terrific dining experience at Pappardella! Brought out of town visitors, who raved about the food and ambiance. The prix fixe menu offered a range of excellent and satisfying meals. The attentive, friendly service was also much appreciated.
