This was our 1st time at Pappadella, but it will not be our last. We ate at an outdoor table, and the neighborhood vibe--in central NYC!--was demonstrable. We had read that portions were large, so we began with tiny carpaccio di manzo: the thinnest slices of tenderloin beef generously bedecked with slivers of truffle and truffle oil: simply perfect. Pappardella is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. Great food, as always but they brought out our entrees when we weren't even half way through our first course and I really was bothered by that.
Excellent food and service. Prices for the meals are very affordable especially for NYC. Our table had delicious pastas and chicken franchise. The flour less chocolate cake was Devine.
