Gorgeous little tea spot. A true gem. The tea was great and has beautiful selection. Atmorpheme was so calm and amazing. Just very tiny. Indoor has only 2 small table as you can see other folks picture. We sat outdoor.
Menu was bit confusing... and the system but the staff was very sweet and explained well. When you enter, you choose your tea and purchase at counter (pay first basically) and she brings out the tea.
The price was little expensive but not terrible. 2 pot & 2 tiny muffoc came out $26+ tip. For location & quality, It's really not bad.
I won't recommend during busy time since the spot is very small and It's not the type of spot you would just grab and go..(to do that the price is bit high, in my opinion)
But if weekday during day or evening or if they do have available table- PLEASE GO AHEAD and enjoy your peaceful tea time.
Highly recommend!
Strongly recommend a reservation on resy if you’re here on a weekend. This teeny tiny tea shop has very limited indoor/outdoor seating. The tea is excellent!! If you’re intimidated by the selection, the staff are super kind and helpful with walking you through the teas. If you come in just for tea time, there is a $5 service charge OR you can get a pastry, which I highly rec. A great place for reading outside if it’s quiet.

This is the best tea house I’ve been to in nyc. Paquita is unpretentious and cozy. On the weekends I would HIGHly recommend a reservation because they do not have many seats. We went in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and put our names down for a resi. We walked around the neighborhood for 30 minutes then came back to be sat.
On the weekends they do ask you to order food along with tea which is fair since the place is so small. The tea selection is intense- they have so many flavors to choose from. I ended up going with Patagonia berry. My bf and I sat at a table outside, enjoyed our tea, and read our books. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich. It was good but I think I want to try a dessert w tea the next time I stop in.
You order at the counter and are then shown your seats. The service is quick and attentive.
They also let you buy tea in bulk to take home!
Wheelchair accessibility: The inside is not wheelchair accessible but they have tables outside that would be accessible.

Chill tea with lovely service. Emily treated us very well, showing us the ropes of the place, helped me pick out a tea, and was very nice with all of the procedures. The shop only allows about and she was extremely polite about telling us. Will come back again soon.

Love this place but after spending USD70 on tea one should not be asked to leave after an hour IMHO.
Owner was super rude

Such a cozy place to get together with some friends or enjoy your time with a book. Seating both inside and outside is beautiful and the place offers a large selection of teas and baked goods. The staff was really helpful with navigating the store and provided great recommendations.
Just a heads up, it is a laptop free space, as well as 1hr seating time limit. Seating space is also pretty limited, so that's something to keep in mind.
Overall good experience, cannot wait to be back!

Come here often for the quiet and calming atmosphere. It’s a no laptop space so bring a friend or a book and enjoy some tea from the shop’s wide selection.
Met a friend for tea early Saturday evening—we were lucky to get a table. Would recommend making a reservation for weekends. Immaculate vibes, scrumptious tea. Loved the mini pastry platter ?

Gorgeous gem of a hole in the wall tea spot. They’ve got little vials you can smell the teas from to help you choose. Knowledgeable staff, cozy atmosphere and great find

Tea was lovely and the space is beautiful, but the service was incredibly disappointing. I booked a reservation and upon arrival was told that purchase of food is required for reservations (which I understand, but should have been clearly noted on the reservation page). We were not given any explanation to the ordering process or tea selection.
After sitting for an hour we were asked to leave so another party could have our table, meanwhile the person next to us had been there since before we arrived.

They said we must order food because we made a reservation (10 minutes prior to arriving). The bathroom access was one step from where one of the stuff member was working. Leaving bathroom I was afraid to open the door because it may have hit the person so little space there is.
After seated we waited for an order for a long time. Person from our party haven't got any tea and had to remind about his order. They also made a mistake with another teapot.
The deserts other guys ordered were surprisingly tasteless.
Overpriced overall. Too few staff to keep up with everything resulting in poor service and questionable rules of service making you order what you don't need.

Cute tea shop - with a great tea selection. It gets busy around peak hours but it’s a cute and cozy spot.
