Amazing show at Moonrise.
The players put on a top notch show. Very impressive.
The entrance activities added a unique experience. Felt like being initiated. Very creative.
Cocktails were all amazing.
Food was very good - my 1 criticism is that my portion of halibut was very dry (but my partner's portion was not). The short rib was delicious. I loved the presentation of the dessert tower.
GiGi, the manager, was also very friendly and chatted with us at the end of the evening. The servers were all friendly. We felt very welcomed to the space.
Thank you for a lovely night out! Well worth the travel out of state to visit NYC for this show! We hope to return.

Check out my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of our experience. I went to see MoonRise show at Paradise Club at the EDITION Hotel in Times Square last week, and it was unlike anything I’ve experienced in the city. The show mixes performance art, dance, music, and dinner in a way that feels both intimate and theatrical. When you arrive, you’re matched with a moon goddess based on your birth date, which sets the tone for the rest of the night. The whole experience is immersive. You’re not just watching. You’re part of it. The storytelling, the visuals, and even the scents all pull you in. It’s definitely not your typical night out. Great if you’re looking for something different. Whether it’s a date, a night with friends, or just trying something new. Glad I went. Would recommend it to anyone open to a more offbeat experience in NYC.
Trying to be who they’re not. Trying to let people in based on? No one knows … you can do better.

It’s a nightclub in Times Square- what do you expect?
The food is run by Chef John Fraser. His Michelin star restaurants are well known in New York. This meal for MOONRISE was a three course prefix. So I don’t have much say over it- But it was tasty for what I paid-
My partner has allergies and they were accommodating. The drinks are expensive, but they definitely going to give you a good time. I see people complaining about the prices- But I don’t think they’ve been to New York before.

Club itself was decent and DJ was good. Bartender Kristen needs extreme training on customer service and trained on basic drinks. Bar manager on staff wasn’t helpful and didn’t take ownership. Still paid $68 for 3 drinks that were not drinkable. Marriott shouldn’t send their guests to this club as a partnership as it does not align with the hotel experience.

Went for a Cobrah concert, and honestly was super disappointed.
It was a small venue seeming like it was trying to harness the dark/sexy energy of The Box (swings, bdsm, etc), but honestly didnt succeed in the vibe.
If anything the audience brought the vibe for the aesthetic. Didn’t help that the DJs were incredibly mid in setting the energy. Felt like the ideas were there, but not the execution.
Though, what really bugged me was the prices.
I already accept that NYC scalps you for drinks, but this was a whole new level.
Cocktails were good but not 25$ good.
Thought shots would be cheaper, but they were $20 each for tito shots. I could buy my own bottle with that much. Also the club set a standard of 20% tip, that was circled every time. Bartenders were friendly tho.
Could go on about other details, but overall felt like a club posing as a “NYC club,” to charge “NYC prices,” but doesn’t provide the vibes that a NYC club provides for those prices (the box, le bain, basement, joyface, etc).
