Super slow service and extremely overpriced food. Only go here if it’s free to you and you’ve got plenty of time to burn.

Something in that arugula salad was beyond delicious. This place has great food, great service and great ambiance. Checks all the boxes. It's loud and lively but not to the point where you have to speak loud to hear the person you're with. It's very spacious. Not too crowded but not empty either for a Tuesday night.

The only positive aspects are that the hotel is really central and the rooms are good but unfortunately that's about it.For breakfast we had to wait 25-30 minutes for a table even though we had booked breakfast. There is a small selection of breakfast, but that's ok.Unfortunately, most of the MAs are unskilled or only semi-skilled.I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel.Try something different.

The food and drinks were ok but the service is terrible slow. We are staying at the hotel and the waitress was not attentive at all. We had to ask for our check several times as well as more drinks. They weren't busy so we figured we would have received better service.

Rude staffs- always busy for nothing and ignore customers’ requests. 20% enforced gratitude fee doesn’t make any sense for this kind of services.Poor management - there were bunch of available tables inside but no manager in charge and they kept 15+ people for different groups waiting at entrance for 20+ minutes without even asking how many people are in each group. It feels like they just want everyone to leave if they don’t seat people.Way over priced foods.

Very chic atmosphere. Good coffee, delicious breakfast. However, very large portions and cannot be compared with a European breakfast. Bring hunger!

Talk about the worst experience. Came here to order food and was completely over charged for various items. After speaking with several managers was assured we would be credited for the items. Of course no credit comes through and the manager tell us to " f*** off " and that he he did his job and to leave him alone. If you ever want a good experience in NYC DONT COME HERE !!! The most incompetent staff, and horrible managers.

Great stay and great location. Room was spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities. Fantastic service at reception but not the best experience in Bridges bar. Hopefully this was a one off and overall a great hotel!

worst experience ever. dirty room not appropriate for a 4 star hotel which makes it overpriced. not to mention that I had to change the room several times due to the dirty room. wouldn't recommend it for this price at all.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I was very please with everything. Room was well appointed and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and the location is very convenient to almost anything via walking or public transportation

The Thompson was a lovely hotel in a nice neighbourhood close to Central Park. It was a little bit out of the way from the hustle and bustle (and crazies) by Times Square. It is close to the 57th Subway stop. The concierge gentleman was exceptionably helpfull, giving us very detailed directions. The rooms were pretty standard but comfortable. They could have been a bit cleaner (there were some stray hairs on arrival) The bar was a busy place and a great spot to have a drink after a long day of touring. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The is a very nice hotel. The staff here are amazing , great customer service. The rooms are spacious with nice modern furnishings. Parker restaurant inside the hotel a nice ambiance and they have entertainment several night out of the week. The food is great , nice place for an evening cocktail or dinner with the family. They also have another restaurant that serves burgers , delicious, it’s nicely tucked away you might actually miss it. Location is ideal, close to a lot of restaurants, department stores , Central Park , Time Square.
