Alessandro was so helpful & nice. Loved it here x
Awesome food - try the Parmesan wheel pasta!!
One of a kind and authentic pasta in NYC! Thanks Mateo and the amazing team for the experience. We enjoyed it to the fullest!
See you next time- JP & Steffi
Absolutely incredible.
Overrated. Food is good, not great. Different tables get different levels of service. We experienced not being offered any bread, olive oil or shredded cheese. Italian restaurants are not famous for their service, so if you are OK with being a bit vocal and don’t mind asking for what you like (like bread starter and cheese on your pasta), you should be Ok. Again - overrated.
the food was so good everything was delicious service was amazing
Pasta Eater is the best hidden gem in NYC! As much as I'd like to keep them a secret, I know they deserve to be known for their authentic, most delicious pasta dishes, appetizers and desserts! We've tried almost everything on the menu except for the wines and spirits and we give 5 stars for each one! We came to NYC for good vibes, great views and delicious food and that's exactly what we got here. Thank you guys!
Had a 7pm reservation on our anniversary and arrived on time to a line out the door. The place is small so there is not anywhere to stand and wait to check in. There was no hostess/host and all of servers looked like they were swamped. I asked the people in front of me if they checked in and they had not. There appeared to be several large parties of 9, 7 etc waiting with reservations which the restaurant did not seem able to accommodate. As I waited yet more people pushed their way into the restaurant, but did not ask anyone else if they were waiting. I felt bad for the staff and was patient until someone finally came over and engaged with all of the men in line, the two in front of me and the one in back of me, but didn't address me. I was very clear I had a reservation for two at 7pm. Two of those three men didn't have a reservation. And both were sat almost immediately even though I had been waiting for 25 mins at this point. Once they sat the party of 7 that had the 7:30 reservation after I tried to remind the guy two times that I had a reservation for 2 at 7pm, I was done. I've never walked out of a restaurant before. It was truly a madhouse with absolutely no organization at the front of the house. I understand things get busy, but it's rude not to seat the person with the reservation, and to not even acknowledge my presence. I get things can be confusing but then why not have someone designated to handle that? Why accept reservations for these huge parties if you don't have the ability to accommodate them? If you can't handle that volume of people coming in, don't. Probably for the better it seemed miserable in there but it's sucks to not have your reservation honored on your anniversary. We had to figure something else out on the fly.
I have dined at this establishment twice, and both times I absolutely loved it. The pasta giusto is exceptional! It is cooked to perfection. Be sure to try the passion fruit Spritz; you won't regret it. I will definitely be returning for a third visit.

Pasta Eater is my absolute favorite Italian food in the city. Homemade pasta, a varied menu and great service make this restaurant a mandatory stop every time I'm in NYC.
Pasta was delicious. Could absolutely tell it is hand made and fresh. Portions sizes are ample and sharable. Service very good. Would go there again when in NY.
Charming Italian eatery near Union Square. Delicious homemade pastas and more authentic cuisine. Our server Elisa was so sweet and attentive and answered all of our questions regarding the extensive menu. We ordered two appetizers, fried calamari and brushetta with mushrooms and melted cheese. Each of us got a different pasta dish. The signature pasta is served table side in a Parmesan cheese wheel with crispy prosciutto. Every dish was delicious! We were too stuffed for dessert (we all got leftovers to go) but Elisa gave us complimentary mini cannolis for the four of us. We all highly recommend this lovely restaurant!
DELICIOUS. This was some of the best pasta I've ever eaten, and the service was spectacular! Will eat here again!
Pasta Eaters has quickly become our "go to" restaurant in the Union Square area. It's a small place, but the food and service are excellent. I'd recommend the Pasta Giusto - pasta tossed in a wheel of cheese - for a great experience.
