Skip this place. Yes it is cheap, but our pasta came out lukewarm and the fettuccine Alfredo was swimming in white watery sauce. Pesto fusilli was ok, but would have preferred it hot - also seemed a bit undercooked. Felt like a bad hospital cafeteria. Sides were a bit better, had the eggplant and garlic knots. The knots had a light texture to them, almost dessert like. But they weren't mind blowing or anything and couldn't save this meal.

I just can't not write a review. This is an excellent place. I delivered and was worried it would be like other delivered pastas... the grease collects at the bottom and everything is wet. NOT HERE. The pasta was delicious. It tasted fresh and was well seasoned. It was a perfect portion. The garlic bread was equally tasty. I had that first and once I popped it in my mouth, I had high expectations for what was to come and was not let down! GO HERE!!

The place is exceptional. The pasta is really-really good, the eggplant salad is exceptional. Price-wise the place may be the unbeatable in whole NYC. If you want your meal on fast and cheap ($8 per bowl, $3 side salad ) and you are anywhere in 20-30 min walk distance from the restaurant - just go there without any hesitation. Consider extra bowl for each two eaters if you are hungry.

I ordered the gluten free pasta and the sample broth bone soup. I didn't take one bite of the food yet and noticed a long hair strand in the corner of my pasta. That grossed me out, so I was going to toss that out and just drink the soup. When I stirred the soup there was a hair floating in it as well. I'm not sure if it was purposely placed in my food or the chefs need better hair nets. The food looked awfully nice but sadly didn't get to try it nor will I ever go back. The staff was also very friendly and warm. I took the food with me and tossed it out when I got outside.

Stepped into Pasta Flyer for a lite bite, immediately you can tell everyone really enjoys working there, the experience definitely wasn't your typical fast casual assembly line experience...service was pleasant and accommodating to answer any questions you have about the menu which is traditional and streamlined. The Dining area is sophisticated but not intimidating, it was perfectly maintained and I noticed each table being wiped when someone left which is something you rarely see. The pasta was fresh and clean, not overly sauced. The garlic bites were fantastic, light and airy, they melted in your mouth leaving you with that perfect craving of more. I definitely recommend Pasta Flyer for a delicious bowl of pasta and an amazing price point! Until next time PF!
