This location of Pastrami Queen is NOT kosher, but “kosher-style.” The meat is not kosher, and the establishment has no kosher certification. Therefore, I have not sampled the food or the service. I believe that the owner/management of Pastrami Queen is diminishing its brand by operating both kosher and non-kosher establishments under the same name. They are also ignoring a market, where thousands of kosher-observant commuters on Amtrak, LIRR, and NJT pass at least six days...
I look forward to getting a pastrami sandwich every time I come to the city for work. The pastrami is top notch. But did y’all change your bread up? I remember a firmer bread with a bit of rye flavor but this time it’s soft white bread. What’s up?

Just passing by after cycling 115 miles and was browsing the menu. Enticed by $8.95 poster for pastrami & egg on a bagel.
