I’ve tried other Patacon Pisa locations in the city, but this truck specifically has consistently delivered the best cachapas around. And they’ve done this for years.

I never order anything without adding some sides of tequeños. If you like mozzarella sticks, you’ll love this soft cheese filled stick.

A contender for a last meal if it ever comes to it

Haven't been there in years. Went recently, and it's just not what I remembered. The patacon wasn't crispy the chicken was dry, and the palitos de queso must've been sitting for a while.

A staple of the heights community, if you don't know where this spot is you've missed out on years of late night tradition. They offer an array of classic foods, such as the famous patacon pisao! Two huge tostones with your choice of meats in the middle! Delicious

Last night was the last time I dined here. I placed my order with the girl and told her to put the sauces that come with my order on the side and I printed my receipt so I can have a copy. She brings my order without the sauces she agreed to put on the side and didn’t give me my receipt. I go back to her counter and asked for my sauces and receipt and she acted like I owed her something for her negligence. When I read the receipt it said, “no sauces” which is not what I said.

I ordered the “patacón pisado” sandwich which comes with cheese. It’s a big sandwich so you’d expect the cheese to be proportionate with the sandwich but it wasn’t, it was about two inches long. They’re cheap.

The second to last time I dined in, I asked the waitress to bring me something and after a long wait, she never came back to my table.

The perception is these workers don’t care or only care about certain customers more than others and that’s a bad look.

Spend your money at a better restaurant with better food and service.

The best arepas in the area, my favorite is the pavilion and the spectacular agua panela with lemon.
