Not sure if there is new management but I used to go frequently for teatime and was very unhappy last time I went. The staff was rude, we felt uncomfortable being in the restaurant, I ended up drinking half my coffee and leaving before ordering my food realizing I would not have a pleasant lunch after the way they aggressively spoke to us. This place used to be one of my go to bakeries in the neighborhood. Now after seeing recent reviews I realize people have had similar experiences.

Great place for dessert. Got the soba pudding to go and it was unique and delicious. Also love that the pudding was in a nice glass container that I could keep and reuse. Can't wait to come back and try more of their pastries and desserts.

Bought a $60 bday cake, got charged 25cents for every single candle. Then also passes the credit card charge at checkout without disclosing to consumers. Didn’t include paper plates and utensils as well

I did the afternoon tea with two other friends, and the experience was disappointing for all of us. While the presentation was beautiful, all the cakes/pastries were really dry and lacking a lot of flavor. The service was also a letdown, as the staff forgot some of our requests. This meant we had to get up from our table and go inside to ask for the same things more than once. In addition, the ambiance inside was gloomy and uncomfortable, so it was best to sit outside.
Overall, we got a lot of food at an affordable price. You will only get high quantity, but not high quality.

Please be aware that they do not allow laptops after 3pm on weekdays. I used to visit in the afternoon and sit there for hours with my laptop last year without anyone asking me to stop. Yes I only had a cup of tea and was planning on having some dessert later. But the policy is upsetting.

Good pastries, well balanced, good taste, not too sweet. The biscuits underneath the mousse was really crunchy ? The almond croissant is good, but can definitely find better in better homemade French bakeries though. The oat milk latte was really good though ? The staff is super nice. Very pleasant experience.
